«Արտոյի երկիր» լիամետրաժ խաղարկային ֆիլմի համաշխարհային պրեմիերան տեղի կունենա հեղինակավոր Լոկառնոյի 78-րդ կինոփառատոնի շրջանակում: Ֆիլմը ստեղծվել է ՀՀ կրթության, գիտության, մշակույթի և սպորտի նախարարության և Հայաստանի կինոյի հիմնադրամի պետական ֆինանսական աջակցությամբ:
Ռեժիսոր Թամարա Ստեփանյանի «Արտոյի երկիրը» ընտրվել է փառատոնի բացման ֆիլմ՝ ցուցադրվելու աշխարհի ամենահեղինակավոր կինոհարթակներից մեկում՝ Պիացցա Գրանդե բացօթյա հրապարակում՝ 8000 հանդիսատեսի ներկայությամբ:
Սա ոչ միայն միջազգային ճանաչման վկայություն է, այլ նաև վստահ քայլ դեպի հայկական ֆիլմարտադրության նոր որակ և համաշխարհային տեսանելիություն։ Միջոցառման բացմանը հայկական ֆիլմի ներկայացումը միանշանակ հանդիսանում է մեր կինեմատոգրաֆիայի միջազգային պատմության մեջ բացառիկ իրադարձություն, որն ամրապնդում է Հայաստանի ներկայությունը համաշխարհային հեղինակավոր կինոհարթակներում. հայտնում է Հայաստանի կինոյի հիմնադրամը:
Ֆիլմի մասին. Սելինն առաջին անգամ գալիս է Հայաստան, իր ամուսնու՝ Արտոյի, մահը գրանցելու նպատակով։ Նա հայտնաբերում է, որ ամուսինը ստել է իրեն, մասնակցել է պատերազմին, յուրացրել ուրիշի ինքնությունը, և նրա նախկին ընկերները նրան դավաճան են համարում։ Սելինի համար սա դառնում է անսպասելի ճամփորդություն դեպի ամուսնու անցյալը՝ սկսած 2020 թվականի պատերազմի վիրավորներից մինչև 90-ականների հաղթական պատերազմի վետերաններ, ու շարունակվող պատերազմի ուրվականներ: Կինն անընդհատ փորձում է հասնել նրա հետևից, բայց ինչպե՞ս թաղել ուրվականին։ Արդյո՞ք հնարավոր է փրկել մեռածներին։
