Ադրբեջանի քաղաքացին 137 միլիոն դոլար է գողացել ԱՄՆ առողջապահական համակարգից

ԱՄՆ Արդարադատության նախարարությունը հայտարարել է, որ Կալիֆոռնիայի Սանիվեյլ քաղաքում բնակվող Ադրբեջանի 47-ամյա քաղաքացի Սևինդիկ Հուսեյնովը մեղադրվում է առողջապահական ոլորտում ավելի քան 137 միլիոն դոլարի խարդախություն կատարելու համար։
Ըստ գերատեսչության տվյալների՝ Հուսեյնովը ղեկավարել է «Vonyes, Inc.» անունով ընկերությունը, որը, ենթադրաբար, մատակարարել է տևական օգտագործման բժշկական սարքավորումներ (օրինակ՝ մեջքի կորսետներ, ծնկակալներ և արմնկակալներ):
2025 թվականի հունվարից մինչև հունիս Վոնյեսը ավելի քան 7200 փոխհատուցման հայց է ներկայացրել առնվազն ութ Medicare Advantage կազմակերպությունների (MAO):
Հետաքննությունը պարզել է, որ այս հարցումներից շատերը վերաբերում էին այնպիսի սարքավորումների, որոնք հիվանդներին պետք չէին կամ որոնք նրանք չէին ստանում, և այդ ապրանքներն իբր ուղեգրած առողջապահական ալարտի աշխատողները տեղյակ չէին իրենց դուրս գրած դեղատոսմերից։
Բացի դրանից, բանկային գրառումները ցույց են տալիս, որ Վոնյեսը իրականում որևէ բժշկական սարքավորում չի գնել։
Խարդախ սխեմայի ընթացքում առնվազն 761,037.63 դոլար է փոխանցվել Վոնյեսի այն հաշիվներին, որոնք վերահսկում էր բացառապես Հուսեյնովը։
Հուսեյնովը ձերբակալվել է 2025 թվականի հունիսի 26-ին՝ Միացյալ Նահանգներից հեռանալու փորձի ժամանակ։
Ըստ Արդարադատության նախարարության տվյալների՝ այս գործն առողջապահական խարդախության դեմ պայքարի ավելի լայն ազգային ջանքերի մի մասն է։ 2025 թվականի հունիսին նախարարությունը հայտարարեց առողջապահության ոլորտում խարդախության գործողության արդյունքների մասին, և մեղադրանք առաջադրվեց 324 անձի, որոնք ներգրավված էին ավելի քան 14.6 միլիարդ դոլարի ընդհանուր արժողությամբ խարդախության սխեմաներում։
