Власти Греции ввели обязательные перерывы в работе из-за жары свыше 40°C

Власти Греции ввели обязательные перерывы в работе в ряде регионов страны, где температура воздуха превысит 40 градусов Цельсия. Ожидается, что жара продлится до четверга, сообщает AP.

Как сообщили в Министерстве труда, запрет на работу под открытым небом и доставку еды будет действовать с полудня до 17:00 (по Гринвичу — с 09:00 до 14:00). Ограничения распространяются в первую очередь на центральные районы Греции и несколько островов. Работодателей также призвали предоставить сотрудникам возможность удалённой работы.

Отдельные чрезвычайные меры в Афинах пока не вводятся, так как нынешняя волна жары — хоть и тяжёлая — не считается аномальной на фоне жаркого лета в Европе.

Власти Греции подчёркивают, что принимают долгосрочные меры для борьбы с последствиями изменения климата. В этом году в стране развернут рекордное количество пожарных бригад, чтобы предотвратить масштабные лесные пожары.
