Air India-ի օդաչուն ուշաթափվել է օդաչուի խցիկում նախատեսված թռիչքից մի քանի րոպե առաջ։ Express-ը հայտնել է, որ ինքնաթիռը Բենգալուրուից Դելի էր ուղևորվում ուրբաթ օրը՝ տեղական ժամանակով մոտավորապես ժամը 3-ին։
Ըստ տեղեկությունների՝ ինքնաթիռի թռիչքը հետաձգվել էր արտակարգ իրավիճակի պատճառով։
Ավիաընկերությունը հայտնել է, որ օդաչուն պատրաստվում էր ստորագրել նախաթռիչքային փաստաթղթերը, երբ ուշաթափվել է։
Օդաչուին անմիջապես տեղափոխել են մոտակա հիվանդանոց, որտեղ, ըստ տեղեկությունների, նրա վիճակը կայուն է, բայց նա մնում է հսկողության տակ։ Air India-ն արագորեն կազմակերպել է փոխարինող օդաչուի որոնում, և թռիչքը, ի վերջո, իրականացվել է տեղական ժամանակով մոտավորապես ժամը 4:36-ին։
Ավիաընկերությունը հաստատել է միջադեպը և ընդգծել, որ օդաչուի առողջությունն ու վերականգնումը մնում են իրենց գերակա խնդիրը։
