UNESCO-ի Համաշխարհային մշակութային ժառանգության ցանկում ներառված Անիի հնագիտական վայրում գտնվող Անիի Մայր տաճարը վերանորոգվում է։ Այս մասին գրում է ermenihaber.am-ը:

Թուրքիայի «Anadolu» պետական լրատվական գործակալությունը հայտնում է, որ վերանորոգումից հետո Անիի Մայր տաճարը գործելու է որպես մզկիթ։

Բացարձակապես չի նշվում, որ միջնադարյան այդ քաղաքն ու եկեղեցին հայկական են։ Անիի Մայր տաճարը ներկայացվում է որպես Ֆեթհիյե մզկիթ։ Բայց և նշվում է, որ տաճարի ճարտարապետը Տրդատն է։

«Մենք Տրդատին ճանաչում ենք նաև որպես Ստամբուլի Այա Սոֆիա մզկիթի գմբեթը վերանորոգած ճարտարապետ։ Տրդատը Անիից հրավիրվել է Ստամբուլ, վերանորոգել է Այա Սոֆիայի գմբեթը, ապա վերադարձել Անի և ավարտին հասցրել այս կառույցը»,- ասում է Անիի հնագիտական վայրի պեղումների ղեկավար Մուհամմեդ Արսլանը։

Վերջնիս նաև հայտնել է, Անիի Մայր տաճարի վերանորոգումն ընթանում է 3 փուլով՝ Թուրքիայի մշակույթի և տուրիզմի նախարարության ու Համաշխարհային հուշարձանների հիմնադրամի համագործակցությամբ։ Այս տարի նախատեսվում է ավարտել 2-րդ փուլի աշխատանքները։

Նշենք, որ շուրջ 100 հեկտար տարածք զբաղեցնող Անիի ավերակներ հնագիտական վայրում են գտնվում նաև Ամենափրկիչ եկեղեցին, Տիգրան Հոնենցի եկեղեցին և Աբուղամրենց Սբ. Գրիգոր եկեղեցին։

Անիի Սուրբ Աստվածածին եկեղեցին կամ Մայր Տաճարը կառուցվել է 10-րդ դարում։ Շինարարությունը սկսել է հայոց թագավոր Սմբատ 2-րդ Բագրատունին 989 թվականին, իսկ ավարտել է հայոց թագուհի Կատրամիդեն 1001 թվականին։
