ԱԺ «Հայաստան» խմբակցության ղեկավար Սեյրան Օհանյանը գրել է․
«Խախտելով «Ազգային ժողովի կանոնակարգ» ՀՀ սահմանադրական օրենքի Հոդված 108-ի՝ «Պատգամավորի նկատմամբ քրեական հետապնդում հարուցելուն կամ նրան ազատությունից զրկելուն համաձայնություն տալու կարգը», 3-րդ կետի պահանջները, այն է՝ «Եթե միջնորդագրում նշված պատգամավորը հարցի քննարկման սկզբում Ազգային ժողովի նիստից ԱՆՀԱՐԳԵԼԻ պատճառով բացակայում է, ապա հարցը քննարկվում է առանց նրա մասնակցության», քպ նախաձեռնությամբ` այսօր Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի դատախազ Աննա Վարդապետյանը միջնորդագիր է ներկայացրել Ազգային ժողով՝ իմ նկատմամբ քրեական հետապնդում հարուցելուն համաձայնություն տալու մասին՝ առողջական խնդրի պատճառով իմ հարգելի բացակայության պայմաններում։
Հուլիսի 1-ին ԱԺ նախագահին իմ կողմից ուղարկվել է գրություն՝ առ այն, որ չեմ կարող ներկա լինել ԱԺ արտահերթ նիստին, քանի որ հունիսի 27-ից վերականգնողական կենտրոնում ստանում եմ վերականգնողական բուժում, և այն դեռ ընթացքի մեջ է․ գրությանը կցվել է բուժհաստատության տեղեկանքը։
Ակնհայտ է, որ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության իշխող խմբակը, լինելով տեղեկացված իմ ժամանակավոր անաշխատունակության վերաբերյալ, կազմակերպել է այս շոուն իմ և իմ գործընկերների դեմ՝ հետապնդելով երկու հիմնական նպատակ՝ շեղել հանրության ուշադրությունը իրենց իսկ ձեռամբ ստեղծված, մեր պետության դեմ ուղղված ծանրագույն սպառնալիքներից և ադրբեջանական իշխանությունների հետ համաձայնեցված՝ շարունակել հետևողականորեն չեզոքացնել բոլոր այն քաղաքական, հասարակական, զինվորական գործիչներին, բարերարներին, հոգևորականներին, ովքեր պայքարում են հանուն Արցախի, Հայաստանի, հանուն հայ ժողովրդի և նրա հոգևոր արժեքների լինելիության»,-ասված է հայտարարության մեջ։
