Քրեական ոստիկանության Սյունիքի մարզային վարչության ծառայողները մայիսի 27-ին ստացել էին օպերատիվ տեղեկություն, որ մաքսանենգ ճանապարհով Հայաստան է ներմուծվելու մեծ քանաքի թմրանյութ: Սյունիքի մարզային քննչական վարչությունում նախաձեռնվեց քրեական վարույթ:

«Տեղեկությունը ստուգելուց և կոնկրետ գործողությունների նախապատրաստումից հետո հունիսի 15-ին իրավապահներն անցան տեղեկությունն իրացնելու գործին, որին մասնակցեցին նաև Քրեական ոստիկանության թմրամիջոցների անօրինական շրջանառության դեմ պայքարի վարչության ծառայողներ ու պարեկներ և Քննչական կոմիտեի մարդկանց թրաֆիքինգի, անչափահասների սեռական անձեռնմխելիության և թմրամիջոցների ապօրինի շրջանառության հանցագործությունների քննության վարչության ծառայողներ: Հունիսի 15-ին` ժամը 15.20-ին, Կոտայքի մարզի Զովունի գյուղում ձերբակալվեցին Երևանի բնակիչ 29-ամյա և օտարերկրացի 39-ամյա երկու տղամարդ, որոնք օտարերկրացու վարած ավտոմեքենայով հանդերձ տեղափոխվեցին Համայնքային ոստիկանության Նաիրիի բաժին:
Մեքենայում հայտնաբերվեց երեք կիլոգրամ 530 գրամից ավելի մարիխուանա: Քիչ անց` ժամը 16.20-ին, Կոտայքի մարզի Ջրվեժ գյուղի գազալցակայանի մոտ ձերբակալվեց ևս երկու հոգի` 36-ամյա երևանցի և 35-ամյա աշտարակցի տղամարդիկ: Վերջինիս վարած ավտոմեքենայով նրանք տեղափոխվեցին Համայնքային ոստիկանության Կոտայքի բաժին: Մեքենայում հայտնաբերվեց 680 գրամ մարիխուանա: Եվս մի քանի ժամ անց` 20.30-ին, Պռոշյան-Երևան ավտոճանապարհի Գևորգ Չաուշի խճուղու հատվածում ձերբակալվեց երկու օտարերկրացի` 28 և 31 տարեկան: Ուղևորի մոտ 540 գրամ մարիխուանա կար: Միջոցառումները շարունակվեցին առավոտյան: Ժամը 8.15-ին Դիլիջանի Կամոյի փողոցում ձերբակալվեցին վանաձորցի 34-ամյա տղամարդն ու նրա 33-ամյա կինը: Երկուսն էլ, մեքենայով հանդերձ, տեղափոխվեցին Դիլիջանի բաժին: Մեքենայում հայտնաբերվեց երկու կիլոգրամ 440 գրամից ավելի մարիխուանա: Ձերբակալվածները կալանավորվել են: Նախաքննությունը շարունակվում է»,-նշված է հաղորդագրության մեջ։
