Հունիսի 22-ին` գիշերվա ժամը մեկին մոտ, Ոստիկանության օպերատիվ կառավարման կենտրոնում հաղորդում էր ստացվել «Էրեբունի» բժշկական կենտրոնից: Հայտնել էին, որ շտապօգնության խումբը բուժօգնության է տեղափոխել Մուշավան թաղամասում դանակահարված 37-ամյա տղամարդու:
Մեկնել էր Քրեական ոստիկանության Երևան քաղաքի վարչության օպերատիվ խումբը: Էրեբունի և Նուբարաշեն վարչական շրջանների քննչական բաժնում նախաձեռնվել էր քրեական վարույթ:
Քրեական ոստիկանության Երևան քաղաքի վարչության Մարդու դեմ ուղղված հանցագործությունների դեմ պայքարի բաժնի ծառայողների օպերատիվ-հետախուզական միջոցառումների և քննչական գործողությունների շնորհիվ պարզվել էր, որ մայրաքաղաքի Մարգարյան փողոցի բնակիչ 38-ամյա տղամարդը վազանցի հետ կապված վիճաբանել է տուժած տղամարդու հետ, սկսվել է ծեծկռտուք, ինչի ժամանակ էլ 38-ամյա տղամարդն իր մոտ եղած դանակով մարմնական վնասվածքներ է պատճառել Մուշավանի 37-ամյա բնակչին։
Հսկող դատախազի կողմից որոշում է կայացվել 38-ամյա տղամարդու նկատմամբ հանրային քրեական հետապնդում հարուցել սպանության փորձի հատկանիշներով։
Քրեական ոստիկանների հետագա միջոցառումների և բացատրական աշխատանքի արդյունքում հունիսի 27-ին 38-ամյա մեղադրյալն ինքնակամ ներկայացել է Երևան քաղաքի վարչություն:
