Թրամփի վարչակազմը դատի է տվել Լոս Անջելես քաղաքին՝ իր ներգաղթային քաղաքականության պատճառով, պնդելով, թե քաղաքի օրենքները խտրականություն են դրսևորում դաշնային իրավապահ մարմինների նկատմամբ՝ նրանց նկատմամբ այլ կերպ վարվելով, քան մյուս իրավապահ մարմինների, հաղորդում է NBC News-ը։
Դատական հայցը ներկայացվել է Կալիֆոռնիայի կենտրոնական շրջանում և նշվում է, որ Դոնալդ Թրամփը «նախագահական ընտրություններում քարոզարշավ է անցկացրել և հաղթել է՝ հիմնվելով միլիոնավոր անօրինական ներգաղթյալների արտաքսման ծրագրի վրա, որոնց նախորդ վարչակազմն իր բաց սահմանների քաղաքականության շրջանակում թույլ էր տվել անօրինական կերպով մուտք գործել երկիր»։
Հայցվորները հայցում որպես պատասխանողներ են նշելով Լոս Անջելեսի քաղաքապետ Քարեն Բասին, քաղաքային խորհուրդը և քաղաքապետարանի նախագահ Մարքիզ Հարիս-Դոուսոնին, պնդում են, որ Լոս Անջելեսի օրենքներն ու քաղաքականությունը խոչընդոտում են ներգաղթի կիրարկմանը։
«Ապաստարանների քաղաքականությունը մեծապես նպաստել է բռնությանը, քաոսին և իրավապահ մարմինների վրա հարձակումներին, որոնց ամերիկացիները վերջերս ականատես են եղել Լոս Անջելեսում», - հայտարարության մեջ ասել է գլխավոր դատախազ Պամելա Բոնդին։ Լոս Անջելեսի կարգի իրավասությունները, որոնք խախտում են դաշնային օրենքը՝ անօրինական ներգաղթյալներին ամերիկացի քաղաքացիների նկատմամբ առաջնահերթություն տալով, խաթարում են իրավապահ մարմինների աշխատանքը բոլոր մակարդակներում, և նախագահ Թրամփի օրոք դրան վերջ կտրվի»։
