Մինչ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն ինքնամոռաց տրվել է Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցու և Հայաստանի դեմ պայքարին, նրա վարկանիշը գնալով գահավիժում է և այլևս անվերադարձ կարելի է փաստել, որ Փաշինյանը քաղաքական ապագա չունի սեփական թիմի հետ։ «GALLUP International Association»-ի հայաստանյան ներկայացուցչության անցկացրած հարցման տվյալներով, հայաստանցիների գրեթե կեսը՝ 49․1 %-ը լիովին բացասական է գնահատում Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի գործունեությունը, ևս 18,8 %-ն այն համարում է ավելի շուտ բացասական։ 13․7 %-ը Փաշինյանի գործունեությանը վերաբերում է որպես ավելի շուտ դրական և միայն 8․2 %-ն է գնահատում դրական։ Ընդ որում, հարցվածների միայն 10 %-ն է դժվարացել պատասխանել հարցին։

Անցած տարվա մայիսին Փաշինյանի գործունեությունը լիովին բացասական էր գնահատում հարցվածների 41․1 %-ը։ Մեկ տարվա ընթացքում Փաշինյանի վարկանիշը պարզապես գահավիժել է։ Հարցվածները նաև բացասական են գնահատում Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցու, ընդդիմադիր գործիչների, ինչպես նաև ռուսաստանաբնակ մեծահարուստների դեմ Փաշինյանի սանձազերծած հակաիրավական պատերազմը։ Փաշինյանի հայտարարությանը, թե Գարեգին Բ-ն պետք է հրաժարական տա, հարցվածների 35,4 %-ը պատասխանել է, որ չի ընդունում վարչապետի միջամտությունը եկեղեցու գործերին։ 24,3 %-ը մտածում է, որ սա քաղաքական քայլ է՝ ուղղված եկեղեցու հեղինակազրկմանը։ 18,6 %-ն էլ կարծում է, որ հրաժարականը հնարավոր է, բայց դա պետք է քննարկվի եկեղեցու ներսում։ Հարցվածների 59 %-ը կարծում է, որ այսօր Հայաստանում կան քաղբանտարկյալներ։

Բոլոր այս տվյալները վկայում են, որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը որքան էլ փորձի Հայաստանում բռնատիրական հասարակարգ կառուցել, դա պարզապես անհնար է լինելու։ Մոտեցող խորհրդարանական ընտրություններին ընդառաջ հասարակությանը գրգռելո՝ւ գործող իշխանությունների այս ջանքերը հակառակ արդյունքն են տալու, ոստիկանական պատով հնարավոր չի լինելու պահպանել իշխանությունը, ի վերջո ՔՊ-ն կամ ինքը կհասկանա, որ պետք է հանձնի իշխանությունը, հեռանա և պատասխանատվություն կրի, կամ էլ հասարակությունն ու ընդդիմադիր ուժերը միասին կհասնեն դրան։
