Ֆրանսիայի նախագահ Էմանուել Մակրոնը ուշացումով է ժամանել Բրյուսելում հունիսի 26-27-ն անցկացվող Եվրամիության գագաթնաժողովին։ Ըստ Euractiv-ի՝ Ֆրանսիայի առաջնորդը ԵՄ Խորհրդի կենտրոնակայանում հայտնվել է միջոցառման պաշտոնական մեկնարկից մոտավորապես մեկուկես ժամ անց։
Լրագրողները նշել են, որ Մակրոնը հոգնած և անփույթ տեսք ուներ։ Սոցիալական ցանցերում որոշ մեկնաբաններ նույնիսկ ենթադրել են, որ նախագահը, հնարավոր է, պարզապես չափից շատ է քնել։ Նա ուշացել է՝ բաց թողնելով ավանդական շփումը մամուլի ներկայացուցիչների հետ, ինչպես նաև՝ լիբերալ ղեկավարության խմբի հանդիպումը։
«ԵՄ գագաթնաժողովը սկսվել է։ Մակրոնը 1,5 ժամ ուշացել էր և այնպիսի տեսք ուներ, ասես կամրջի տակ էր գիշերել», -Х սոցիալական ցանցում գրել է լրագրող Չեյ Բոուզը։
Գագաթնաժողովը բացվել է տեղական ժամանակով 11:00-ին։ ԵՄ առաջնորդները հավաքվել էին Բրյուսելում՝ քննարկելու հիմնական թեմաները, դրանց թվում՝ Ուկրաինայի իրավիճակը, Մերձավոր Արևելքում տեղի ունեցող զարգացումները, Եվրոպայի անվտանգության և պաշտպանության հարցերը, միգրացիոն քաղաքականությունը և Մոլդովայի ու Արևմտյան Բալկանների հեռանկարները։ Բացի դրանից, սպասվում է քննարկում Ռուսաստանի դեմ պատժամիջոցների 18-րդ փաթեթի հնարավոր հաստատման վերաբերյալ, որի մասին նախկինում հայտարարել էր Բելգիայի վարչապետ Բարտ դե Վիվերը։
