Եվրոպական երկրները ենթադրում են, որ ԱՄՆ հրթիռային և օդային հարվածները չեն ոչնչացրել Իրանի հարստացված ուրանի պաշարները։ Դրա մասին գրում է Financial Times-ը՝ հղում անելով իրազեկ աղբյուրներին։
Պարբերականի տվյալներով՝ մոտ 408 կիլոգրամ հարստացված ուրան հարձակման պահին Ֆորդոյի ստորգետնյա միջուկային կենտրոնում չի եղել, այլ տեղափոխվել է այլ օբյեկտներ։ Մինչ Եվրոպան դեռևս սպասում է հարվածի ազդեցության վերաբերյալ ավելի ամբողջական հետախուզական զեկույցի, նախնական գնահատականները ցույց են տալիս Ֆորդոյի ենթակառուցվածքներին հասցված զգալի վնաս, բայց ոչ լիակատար ոչնչացում։
Նշվում է, որ Միացյալ Նահանգներն իր եվրոպացի դաշնակիցներին Իրանի միջուկային ներուժի ներկայիս վիճակի վերաբերյալ վերջնական հետախուզական տվյալներ չի տրամադրել։ Բացի դրանից, Վաշինգտոնը դեռևս հստակ դիրքորոշում չի ձևակերպել Թեհրանի նկատմամբ իր ապագա ռազմավարության վերաբերյալ, ինչն, ըստ Financial Times-ի, անորոշություն է առաջացնում ԵՄ քաղաքականության մեջ։
«Իրավիճակը լարված է. Եվրաեռյակը՝ Մեծ Բրիտանիան, Ֆրանսիան և Գերմանիան, սպասում են ԱՄՆ-ի քայլերին, իսկ նա, իր հերթին, կարծես թե սպասում է Իսրայելի որոշմանը», -պարբերականի թղթակցի հետ զրույցում նշել է եվրոպացի դիվանագետներից մեկը։
Ավելի վաղ ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը հայտարարել էր, որ Իրանը չի կարողացել տարհանել միջուկային նյութերը հարձակման ենթարկված երեք օբյեկտներից, այդ թվում՝ գերհզոր բունկերային պայթուցիչ ռումբերի օգտագործմամբ։ Ըստ Թրամփի՝ Ֆորդոյում ուրանը թաղված է եղել ավերված ժայռի, բետոնի և մետաղական կառուցվածքների շերտի տակ։ Սակայն, Սպիտակ տան մամուլի քարտուղար Քերոլայն Լևիթն ավելի ուշ հայտարարել է, որ միջուկային նյութերի նախնական դուրսբերման մասին հաղորդագրությունները իրականությանը չեն համապատասխանում։
