Վարչապետ Փաշինյանը  հայտարարություն է արել․

«Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածինը մեր ազգային բարոյականության էպիկենտրոնն է։

Երբ այդ էպիկենտրոնը գտնվում է Աստծո առաջ իրենց ուխտը դրժած, այլասերված, նունիսկ աշխարհիկ մարդկանց համար անընդունելի եւ արգահատելի բարոյական կերպարով ու ապրելակերպով մարդկանց ղեկավարման ներքո, նշանակում է կասկածի տակ է դրված մեր բարոյականությունը։

Ես Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցու հավատարիմ հետեւորդ եմ, ով խանդաղատանքով է վերաբերվում մեր յուրաքանչյուր եկեղեցու յուրաքանչյուր քարի, սրտի տրոփյունով է լսում մեր սուրբ պատարագի ելեւեջներն ու ուղերձները, 35 տարի շարունակ ամեն օր Աստծո առաջ ծնկի է գալիս եւ աղոթում, ժամանակ առ ժամանակ ծոմապահության եւ պահեցողության մեջ է լինում, եւ ասում եմ՝ չենք կարող թույլ տալ, որ մեր ազգային բարոյականության էպիկենտրոնի նեխումը շարունակվի։

Սա Զատիկ է, որտեղ ՀՀ յուրաքանչյուր հավատավոր քաղաքացի, յուրաքանչյուր բարեպաշտ հոգեւորական պետք է զատվի որոշ բարձրաստիճան հոգեւորականների պոռնկաբարո ու ուխտադավ վարքից եւ Մայր Աթոռում վերահաստատի բարոյական այն հրամայականը, որ սահմանված է Հայ Առաքելական Եկեղեցու Կանոնագրքով։ Այլընտրանք չկա։

Կտրիճ Ներսիսյանի հորդորում եմ րոպե առաջ հեռանալ Վեհարանից։

Հայաստանյայց Առաքելական Սուրբ Եկեղեցու բոլոր հավատավոր հետեւորդներին եւ նրա արժեքներին հավատարիմ բոլոր հոգեւորականներին հորդորում եմ հստակ ձեւակերպել Վեհարանն ազատելու՝ Կտրիճ Ներսիսյանին ուղղված իրենց պահանջը եւ դրա մասին բարձրաձայնել։ Վեհարանը վեհի՛»։
