«Գիտակցված ընտրություն է արել Սամվել Կարապետյանը, չեմ հասկանում ինչից են զարմացել, ինչից են նեղսրտել այդքան»։ Այս մասին հայտարարել է ՀՖՖ նախկին նախագահ, գործարար Ռուբեն Հայրապետյանը` իր աջակցությունը հայտնելով գործարար Սամվել Կարապետյանին ու նրա ընտանիքին:
«Հայ Առաքելական եկեղեցու կողքին լինելու բարոյական եւ նյութական պատասխանատվությունը Սամվել Կարապետյանը նոր չի ստանձնել, սա բոլորին էլ հայտնի։ Բոլորի աչքի առաջ են եղել եկեղեցիների նորոգման հսկայածավալ գործերը։

Սամվել Կարապետյանը Հայրենիքը սիրող, շենացնող հայերից է, եւ դա բոլորը գիտեն անգամ Հայաստանի սահմաններից դուրս։
Հսկայական ներդրումներ է արել Արցախում ու Հայաստանում տասնյակ տարիներ շարունակ, ուժեղ հենասյուն է դարձել նա ոչ միայն Եկեղեցու, այլեւ ծանր ապրող հավատավոր հայի համար։
Արդեն երկար ժամանակ մենք աղետաբեր ցիկլի մեջ ենք. կորուստներ, պատերազմ, մեզ համոզում են ուրանալ Արցախը, մեր պատմությունը եւ հոգեւոր արժեքները Սամվել Կարապետյանը որպես բարձր գիտակցություն ունեցող, պատվախնդիր ու պատասխանատու ՀԱՅ, բնական է, որ պիտի աջակցեր այս օրերին ներսից ու դրսից սինքրոն հարձակումների թիրախ դարձած Հայ Առաքելական Եկեղեցուն ու նրա հավատավոր ժողովրդին։
Հայի այս տեսակին ոչ թե հետապնդել, նրան որպես վտանգ ներկայացնել է պետք, այլ հարկավոր է` նրանով հպարտանալ ու հայրենանվեր մարդու օրինակ դարձնելով սերունդներ դաստիարակել։
Դատապարտում եմ իմ ընկերոջ, հավատացյալ հայի նկատմամբ քաղաքական ճղճիմ ու զազրելի հետապնդումները եւ հույս ունեմ, որ հենց նրա շուրջ ծավալվող գործընթացը կհամախմբի ողջ հավատավոր հայությանը Հայ Առաքելական եկեղեցու շուրջը եւ մեր երկրի սրընթաց անկումը կկանգնեցնի։
Ես ամբողջովին կիսում եմ Սամվել Կարապետյանի մտահոգությունն ու տեսակետը, աջակցում եմ բարերարին ու իր ընկերներին ու սատարում են Հայ Առաքելական Եկեղեցուն»,- նշել է Հայրապետյանը։
