tsargrad.tv–ն «Ինչպե՞ս կազդեն Իսրայելի և Իրանի միջև ռազմական գործողությունները Հայաստանի վրա» վերնագրով հոդվածում գրում է, որ Երևանը պետք է ուշադիր հետևի Իսրայելի և Իրանի միջև ռազմական գործողություններին, գրել է ռազմական թղթակից Յուրի Կոտենոկը: Պատերազմական թղթակցի խոսքով, Իրանի պարտությունը ուտոպիա չի թվում՝ հաշվի առնելով սիոնիստների ռազմական հզորությունը և «իրանական հարցը» լուծելու՝ մինչև վերջ գնալու նրանց մտադրությունը: Սակայն Թեհրանի դուրս գալը տարածաշրջանային ասպարեզից և նույնիսկ երկարատև ռազմական գործողությունների պատճառով նրա հնարավորությունների կտրուկ սահմանափակումը լավ բան չեն խոստանում Հայաստանի համար: Դա պայմանավորված է նրանով, որ Ռուսաստանի՝ Անդրկովկասից փաստացի դուրս գալու և Իրանի տեսքով երկրորդ հիմնական խոչընդոտի վերացման հետ մեկտեղ, Բաքուն, որն ունի դաշնակիցներ՝ ի դեմս Թուրքիայի և Իսրայելի (Ադրբեջանի տարածքը սիոնիստները օգտագործում են Իրանի դեմ՝ առնվազն հետախուզական տվյալներ հավաքելու և ենթադրաբար անօդաչու թռչող սարքեր արձակելու համար), կունենա գայթակղություն և հնարավորություն կայծակնային արագությամբ և միակողմանիորեն լուծելու «Զանգեզուրի միջանցքի» և, ընդհանրապես, բոլոր վիճելի տարածքների հարցը հայերի հետ:

«Որպես ռազմական խաղացող՝ Հայաստանը այս պահին դժվարությամբ է ընկալվում», - նշել է Կոտենոկը։ Նա բացատրել է, որ Երևանի իշխանությունները, որոնք մի ժամանակ համաձայնել էին երկրի հարավում միջանցք ստեղծել, ի վիճակի չեն պաշտպանել Հայաստանի ինքնիշխանությունը: Ռուսաստանի հետ քաղաքական հարաբերությունների սառեցումը՝ պահպանելով նրա հետ տնտեսական կապերը, և ոչ պակաս ցուցադրականորեն ԵՄ-ի կողմը թեքվելու մասին հայտարարություններով եվրոպական կառույցներին ապավինելը բավականին անօգնական քայլեր են թվում։ «Երևանի կառավարիչները համաձայն չէին հայ հերոս Մոնթե Մելքոնյանի հետ, ով կարծում էր, որ Արցախի հանձնմամբ կփակվի հայոց պատմության վերջին էջը։ Արցախը հանձնվեց։ Իսկ գլուխը կորցնելուց հետո իմաստ չունի մազերի համար լաց լինել։ Այս ամենից ելնելով՝ կարելի է ասել, որ Սյունիքը կորցնելու սպառնալիքը իրական է», - ամփոփել է փորձագետը։
