«Նաթանզի վրա Իսրայելի օդային հարվածներից հետո տեղեկատվական դաշտում կրկին շրջանառության մեջ դրվեցին վաղուց ծանոթ եզրույթներ՝ «ճառագայթում», «արտահոսք»... Լայն շրջանակներում այս բառերն ակամայից մտավախություններ են գեներացնում սպասվող միջուկային ապոկալիպսիսի մասին։ Մի կողմ թողնենք էմոցիաները և դիտարկենք զուտ փաստերը»,-գրում է էներգետիկ թեմաներով փորձագետ Վահե Դավթյանը։

Նա մանրամասնում է.

«Նախ և առաջ՝ ատոմակայաններին հարված չի հասցվել: Ոչ մի ԱԷԿ վնաս չի կրել։ Թիրախում է եղել Նաթանզի ուրանի հարստացման կայանը, որն ինժեներատեխնիկական նշանակության հարթակ է, այլ ոչ թե էներգետիկ ռեակտոր։

 Ի՞նչ է իրականում տեղի ունեցել։

Վնասվել են միայն վերերկրյա կառույցները՝ էլեկտրաբաշխիչ համակարգերը, օդափոխության խողովակները, փորձարարական արտադրամասը։ ՄԱԳԱՏԷ-ի տվյալներով՝ գրանցվել է ներքին արտահոսք։ Այն մնացել է կայանի սահմաններում։ Շրջակա միջավայրն ու բնակչությունը վտանգված չեն։

Ինչո՞ւ ճառագայթումը դուրս չի եկել կայանից:

Գործածվել է ոչ թե պլուտոնիում կամ ատոմակայանների թափոններ, այլ ուրանի հեքսաֆտորիդ (UF₆)։ Սա մի նյութ է, որը՝

- ճառագայթում է հիմնականում ալֆա մասնիկներ, որոնք չեն անցնում նույնիսկ գիպսակարդոնե պատի միջով,

- վտանգավոր է միայն ներշնչման դեպքում, արտաքին ֆոն չի ստեղծում,

- հեշտությամբ մեկուսացվում է հերմետիկ տարածքներում։

Հարվածի նպատակը ոչ թե էկոլոգիական աղետն է, այլ ուրանի հարստացման գործընթացի դադարեցումը։

Իսրայելը փորձում է դանդաղեցնել կամ խափանել Իրանի միջուկային ծրագիրը։ Նաթանզի ենթակառուցվածքների վնասումը կիրառվում է որպես ճնշման միջոց։ Ավելին՝ Իրանը տեխնիկապես ունակ է կարճ ժամանակում վերականգնել կայանի էներգամատակարարումը։

ետևաբար, պետք չէ տրվել միջուկային հիստերիայի։ Վնասը կետային է, հետևանքները՝ սահմանափակ։

Այլ բան է միջուկային հարվածը, որին կանդրադառնամ առանձին»։
