Мегапроект с инвестициями в размере 500 миллионов долларов: о чем речь? «Паст»

В рамках крупнейшего в Европе форума стартапов и технологий Viva Technology был представлен инвестиционный мегапроект в Армении стоимостью около 500 миллионов долларов. В сотрудничестве с правительством Республики Армения, NVIDIA, Firebird и Team Group будет построен самый мощный в регионе суперкомпьютерный центр и центр обработки данных на базе решений искусственного интеллекта (ИИ).

Для ускорения технологических инноваций и внедрения передовой инфраструктуры искусственного интеллекта в регионе, компания Firebird планирует в 2026 году запустить центр обработки данных, оснащенный тысячами графических процессоров NVIDIA Blackwell, с возможностью масштабирования до более чем 100 мегаватт.

Группа компаний Team, управляющая ведущими телекоммуникационными компаниями Team Telecom Armenia и ирландской Imagine Broadband и являющаяся акционером грузинской компании SkyTel, будет использовать свои экспертные ресурсы и уникальную инфраструктуру связи в регионе для реализации этого масштабного проекта в нашей стране.

«Для нас большая честь участвовать в реализации этой крупномасштабной инициативы, имеющей стратегическое значение, вкладывая наш многолетний опыт и ресурсы в технологическую сферу. Наше участие отражает готовность превратить Армению в глобальный центр информационных технологий, решений искусственного интеллекта и цифрового будущего», - сказал соучредитель группы компаний Team Александр Есаян.

Кстати, добавим, что накануне Никол Пашинян на заседании правительства заявил, что он предложил реализовать инвестиционную программу в размере 500 миллионов долларов на территории академического городка, где есть довольно большие площади и возможности.
