Թուրքիայի վարչապետ Դավութօղլուն հրապարակեց քրդական հիմնախնդրի կարգավորման նոր պլանը, որտեղ, կարծում եմ, առանցքայինը Իմրալըի հետ այլևս գործարքների չգնալու շեշտադրումն էր: Այսինքն այն, որ քրդական հիմնախնդրի կարգավորման մեջ պետությունն այլևս Օջալանին «գործընկեր» չի համարում և չեզոքացնում է նրա դերակատարությունը:
Այս համատեքստում չափազանց ուշագրավ է թուրքական իշխանական մամուլի կողմից շրջանառության մեջ դրված մի հրապարակում, որը կարծում եմ, զուտ պատահականություն կամ համընկնում չէ: 

Իշխանամետ և հատկապես Էրդողնամերձ լրատվամիջոցներից մեկն այսօր օրակարգ է բերել Իրաքում քրդական շարժման առաջնորդ, Իրաքյան քրդական տարածաշրջանի կառավարության ներկայիս ղեկավար Մեսութ Բարզանիի հոր` Մուստաֆա Բարզանիի նամակը Թուրքիայի 5-րդ նախագահ Ջևդեթ Սունային, թվագրված 1968 թվականին: Նամակում Բարզանին Թուրքիայի նախագահին ներկայացնելով Իրաքում քրդերի ծանր վիճակը` օգնություն էր խնդրում Թուրքիայից` որպես եղբայրական ժողովրդի և երկրի և խնդրում քայլեր ձեռնարկել Իրաքի արաբական կառավարության կեղեքիչ գործողությունների դադարեցման ուղղությամբ: Նամակում շեշտվում էր քրդերի և թուրքերի` «Օսմանյան համատեղ ժառանգությունն ու եղբայրությունը»:
Նման հռետորաբանություն էր կիրառել նաև Մեսութ Բարզանին 2013 թ. Թուրքիա կատարած այցի ընթացքում:
