Более 3 миллионов детей в мире вынуждены работать под принуждением

На фоне войн, бедности и климатических катастроф число детей, попавших в условия принудительного труда, продолжает расти. По данным международных организаций, сейчас по всему миру более 3,3 миллиона детей вынуждены работать, зачастую в опасных и тяжелейших условиях — на шахтах, в полях, на фабриках и в частных домах.

Особенно тревожная ситуация складывается в таких странах, как Бангладеш, Сирия и Демократическая Республика Конго, пишет Bild. Половина всех детей, попавших в систему принудительного труда, становятся жертвами сексуальной эксплуатации — через проституцию, торговлю людьми и бордели. В зоне особого риска — дети-беженцы без родителей, дети с инвалидностью и воспитанники детских домов.

По информации ООН, с 2005 по 2022 год более 105 тысяч детей были насильно завербованы в вооруженные группировки. Их используют как солдат, саперов или живые щиты.

«Девочек часто насильно выдают замуж или подвергают сексуальному насилию», — отмечают эксперты.
Управление ООН по наркотикам и преступности предупреждает, что в странах с низким уровнем дохода каждый второй человек, пострадавший от торговли людьми, — ребенок.
