Եկեղեցու դեմ պայքարում Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը փորձել է ստանալ Արևմուտքի աջակցությունը։ Մեր տեղեկություններով, շաբաթներ առաջ Փաշինյանը փորձել է հանդիպել Հայաստանում Միացյալ Նահանգների դեսպանի հետ, որպեսզի աջակցություն ստանա Հայ Առաքելական Եկեղեցու դեմ իր պայքարում։ Բայց այդ հանդիպումը տեղի չի ունեցել, քանի որ Պետքարտուղարությունից դեսպանին հրահանգ է եկել առայժմ չհանդիպել Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի հետ։ Ամերիկյան հետախուզության տվյալներով, Փաշինյանն է փորձել ուղիղ ամերիկյան կողմից աջակցություն ստանալ, բայց Պետքարտուղարությունից զգուշացրել են, որ ներկայումս Միացյալ Նահանգների իշխանությունը վարում է պահպանողական ու քրիստոնեական արժեքներին միտված քաղաքականություն, ուստի Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցու դեմ պայքարում Փաշինյանին աջակցելը կարող է խնդիրներ հարուցել իրենց իսկ համար, անգամ ԱՄՆ-ի հայ համայնքի շրջանում։
Թրամփի վարչակազմն առայժմ սպասողական դիրք է բռնել՝ փորձելով հասկանալ, թե մինչև ուր կտանի Փաշինյան-եկեղեցի հակամարտությունը։ Ընդ որում, մեր աղբյուրի փոխանցմամբ, Փաշինյանը փորձել է ամերիկյան կողմի աջակցությունը ստանալ աղանդավորական որոշ կազմակերպությունների իր պայքարում ներգրավելու համար։ Հատկապես «Կյանքի խոսք» տոտալիտար աղանդի, որը բավականին լուրջ ռեսուրսների է տիրապետում։
ԱՄՆ-ից մերժում ստանալով՝ Փաշինյանի աշխատակազմից հանդիպում են ունեցել Հայաստանում Մեծ Բրիտանիայի դեսպանատան հետ, որտեղից լիակատար աջակցություն են ստացել։ Ավելին, բրիտանական իշխանությունները Փաշինյանի աշխատակազմի ներկայացուցչին հայտնել են, որ այլ աղանդավորական շարժումներ կան, որոնք իրենց վերահսկողության տակ են և դրանց կարող են օգտագործել եկեղեցու դեմ պայքարում Փաշինյանին աջակցելու համար և միայն դրանից հետո է Փաշինյանն ակտիվորեն անցել հակաեկեղեցական իր պայքարին։
Միացյալ Թագավորությունում էլ հասկանում են, որ սա կարող է խնդիրներ առաջացնել, բայց և փորձում են իրենց ազդեցությունն ավելացնելու նպատակով Փաշինյանին լիակատար կախվածության մեջ գցել, իսկ այս թեման չափազանց ուշագրավ և հետաքրքիր է։
Ի դեպ, այս հարցում որոշակի աջակցություն Փաշինյանը ստանում է նաև Թուրքիայից և Ադրբեջանից, որոնք ևս Լոնդոնի կուրացիայի ներքո են գտնվում։
