Մեխիկոյում ապամոնտաժել են ադրբեջանցի բռնապետ Հեյդար Ալիևի արձանը, փոխարենը` տեղադրել Ադրբեջանի քարտեզ: Այս մասին հայտնում է բլոգեր Ալեքսանդր Լապշինը: 

«Մեխիկոյի կենտրոնում Հեյդար Ալիեւի արձանի տեղադրմամբ ադրբեջանական սադրանքի ամոթալի ավարտը: Ամեն ինչ սկսվեց 15 տարի առաջ: Մեքսիկա-Ադրբեջան բարեկամության զբոսայգու ֆինանսավորման պատրվակով ալիևյան Ադրբեջանի դեսպանատունը, խախտելով Մեքսիկայի մայրաքաղաքի քաղաքապետարանի հետ պայմանավորվածությունները, հենց քաղաքի կենտրոնում տեղադրեց բռնապետի հուշարձանը։

Մեքսիկացիներին ցնցել էր Ադրբեջանի դեսպանատան լկտիությունը: Բողոքի ձայները սկսեցին ավելի ուժեղանալ, և շուտով հուշարձանի առջև սկսվեցին ցույցեր՝ «Վերջ Անդրկովկասի քրիստոնեական ժառանգությունը ավերող բռնապետի արձանը» գրությամբ պաստառներով։

Հետևելով քաղաքային թերթերին՝ Մեքսիկայի ազգային մամուլն անդրադարձավ այդ թեմային, այնպես որ Մեխիկոյի դաշնային շրջանի իշխանությունները ստիպված եղան հատուկ հանձնաժողով նշանակել՝ քննարկելու, թե ինչ անել արձանի հետ:

Շաբաթ վաղ առավոտյան, մթության քողի տակ և ամենուր հայտնված լրագրողներից հեռու, Մեխիկոյի իշխանությունները ապամոնտաժել են Հեյդար Ալիևի արձանը։ Ադրբեջանի վիրավորված դեսպան Իլգար Մախմուդովը բռնապետի արձանը վերադարձրել է դեսպանատուն և այդ ժամանակվանից այն կանգնած է Մեխիկոյում Ադրբեջանի դեսպանատանը։ Դեսպանին կարելի է հասկանալ, քանի որ արձանի տեղադրման հետ կապված խարդախության մեջ նա մտադիր էր ոչ միայն նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևի «հետույքը լիզել», այլ նաև գողանալ այս նախագծի համար հատկացված միլիոնավոր դոլարները»,-գրել է Լապշինը։
