Դիրիժոր Դոմինգո Հինդոյանը նշանակվել է Լոս Անջելեսի Օպերայի երաժշտական տնօրեն

Լոս Անջելեսի Օպերան հայտարարել է, որ հայկական արմատներով վենեսուելացի դիրիժոր Դոմինգո Հինդոյանը կստանձնի երաժշտական տնօրենի պաշտոնը։ Նրա հնգամյա պայմանագիրը կսկսվի 2026 թվականի հուլիսի 1-ից և կշարունակվի մինչև 2031 թվականը։ Նա կփոխարինի ներկայիս երաժշտական տնօրեն Ջեյմս Քոնլոնին։
Դոմինգո Հինդոյանը Լոս Անջելեսի Օպերայում իր դեբյուտն ունեցել է 2024-ի նոյեմբերին՝ Գունոյի «Ռոմեո և Ջուլիետ» օպերայով։
Օպերայի ղեկավար Քրիստոֆեր Քոելշը նշել է.«Նա տպավորում է իր երաժշտական հստակությամբ, արտահայտչությամբ։ Մեր ընտրության շրջանակը լայն էր, և Դոմինգոն միանշանակ առաջատարն էր»
Ինքը՝ Հինդոյանը, ասել է.«Լոս Անջելեսը ներշնչող քաղաք է իր բազմազանությամբ և ստեղծագործական էներգիայով։ Ինձ համար մեծ պատիվ է ստանձնել այս դերը և զարգացնել օպերային արվեստը այստեղ՝ ստեղծելով նոր ներկայացումներ, ներգրավելով տեղացի և միջազգային արտիստների ու խորացնելով կապը մեր հանդիսատեսի հետ»։
Հինդոյանը նաև ղեկավարում է Լիվերպուլի թագավորական ֆիլհարմոնիկ նվագախումբը։ Նա հանդես է եկել աշխարհի հայտնի օպերային թատրոններում՝ ներառյալ Մետրոպոլիտեն Օպերա, Վիեննայի և Փարիզի օպերաներ, Բեռլինի պետական օպերա և այլն։ Նա թողարկել է մի քանի ձայնասկավառակներ, վերջինը՝ Չայկովսկու ստեղծագործություններով՝ 2025-ի ապրիլին:
Ներկայիս երաժշտական տնօրեն Ջեյմս Քոնլոնը հավելել է.«Ուրախ եմ, որ այդ պատասխանատու դիրքը փոխանցում եմ մարդուն, ով ունի խորը զգացմունքներ օպերայի հանդեպ։ Մեր համագործակցությունը շարունակվելու է նաև ապագայում»։
Լոս Անջելեսի Օպերայի տնօրենների խորհրդի նախագահ Քիթ Լեոնարդը նշել է.«Մենք մեծ ոգևորությամբ ենք ընդունում Հինդոյանին՝ վստահ լինելով, որ նա կզարգացնի մեր ստեղծագործական ուղին՝ հիմնվելով իր նախորդների նվաճումների վրա»։
