Ղազախստանը հրաժարվել է միանալ ԲՐԻԿՍ-ին

Ղազախստանը չի ծրագրում միանալ ԲՐԻԿՍ-ին, Al Jazeera-ին տված հարցազրույցում հայտարարել է հանրապետության նախագահ Կասիմ-Ժոմարտ Տոկաևը։ Ըստ նրա՝ ինքը առաջնորդվում է «պրագմատիկ» նկատառումներով և կազմակերպության գործընկերոջ կարգավիճակը բավարար է համարում։ Տոկաևը նշել է, որ հարցը վերաբերում է լիիրավ անդամակցության օգտակարությանը և ուշադրություն է հրավիրել այն փաստի վրա, որ ԲՐԻԿՍ-ը « կանոնադրություն, քարտուղարություն, ծրագրեր չունի»։ «Տեսնենք, թե որքանով արդյունավետ կլինի ԲՐԻԿՍ-ը որպես միջազգային կազմակերպություն։ Առայժմ Ղազախստանը կմնա դիտորդի կարգավիճակում, իսկ հետո ժամանակը ցույց կտա», -եզրափակել է նա։
2024 թվականի հոկտեմբերին նախագահի խորհրդական Բերիկ Ուալին հայտարարել էր, որ Ղազախստանը ստացել է ԲՐԻԿՍ-ին միանալու առաջարկներ, սակայն Տոկաևը որոշել է ձեռնպահ մնալ նման քայլից, ներառյալ՝ «միավորման զարգացման հեռանկարներին վերաբերող ասպեկտների» պատճառով։ Ուալին այնուհետև ընդգծել է, որ ԲՐԻԿՍ-ին միանալու նպատակահարմարությունը քննարկվում է «Ղազախստանի ազգային շահերի տեսանկյունից», և նախագահը նախապատվությունը տվել է ՄԱԿ-ին՝ «որպես համընդհանուր և անվիճելի կազմակերպություն, որտեղ կարող են և պետք է քննարկվեն բոլոր արդիական միջազգային հարցերը»։
Ղազախստանը ԲՐԻԿՍ-ի գործընկեր դարձավ 2025 թվականի հունվարի 1-ին։ Կազմակերպությունն ինքնին ի հայտ եկավ 2006 թվականին և այժմ ներառում է Ռուսաստանը, Բրազիլիան, Հնդկաստանը, Չինաստանը, Հարավային Աֆրիկան, Միացյալ Արաբական Էմիրությունները, Իրանը, Եգիպտոսը, Եթովպիան և Ինդոնեզիան։ Փետրվարից ի վեր ԲՐԻԿՍ-ը դադարեցրել է նոր անդամների ընդունումը՝ վկայակոչելով մասնակիցների թվի աճից բխող «ինստիտուցիոնալ խնդիրները»։
ԲՐԻԿՍ-ի ընդլայնումը դադարեցնելու մասին հայտարարությունը խմբի երկրների նկատմամբ 100% մաքսատուրքեր սահմանելու հնչեց ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի սպառնալիքների ֆոնին՝ նոր արժույթ ստեղծելու և դոլարից հրաժարվելու փորձերի համար։ Դրանից հետո Ռուսաստանը, որն ակտիվորեն առաջ էր մղում այդ գաղափարը Ուկրաինա ներխուժման սկզբից ի վեր, հրաժարվեց նախագծից։ Եվ արդեն փետրվարի 13-ին ամերիկացի առաջնորդը հայտարարեց, որ «ԲՐԻԿՍ-ը մեռած է»։
