«Հայրենական կյանքի խնդիրներին որևէ անդրադարձ կարիք չունի նվաստ բնորոշումների և կրոնական զգացումներ վիրավորող արտահայտչաձևերի»,- ընդգծում է Տեր Ասողիկ աբեղա Կարապետյանը՝ անդրադառնալով շնորհ Արշակ արքեպիսկոպոս Խաչատրյանն անդրադարձել է Հայ Առաքելական Սուրբ Եկեղեցու և հայկական սրբավայրերի վերաբերյալ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի այսօրվա հայտարարություններին․

«Հայրենիքը շենացնել պարտավոր է ամեն ոք՝ բարոյապես և նյութապես: Իսկ այդպիսի գիտակցություն ձևավորվում ու զարգացվում է ընտանիքում, բայց մանավանդ՝ դպրոցում:

Հայրենիքի ժառանգության ամենամեծ մասն են կազմում հայ հավատքի կոթողները՝ սուրբ տաճարներն ու եկեղեցիները, որոնց ճանաչելիության և պահպանության սուրբ գործն էր նաև կյանքի կոչում հայոց դպրոցներում ավանդվող «Հայ Եկեղեցու պատմություն» առարկան…

Այսօր, երբ տկարացած է և տկարացվում է Ազգային ինքնություն և Հայրենիք ունենալու և պահպանելու, շենացնելու գիտակցությունն ու պատասխանատվությունը, ցավոք, տեսանելի ու լսելի կլինեն նման երևույթներ ու խոսքեր՝ ամենապարզ անձից մինչև ամենավերին պաշտոնյան:

Հայրենական կյանքի խնդիրներին որևէ անդրադարձ կարիք չունի նվաստ բնորոշումների և կրոնական զգացումներ վիրավորող արտահայտչաձևերի: Պետք է գիտակցել, որ Խորհրդային Հայաստանի ավարտից հետո, տասնյակ տարիներ և այսօր, եկեղեցիներն ու վանքերը վերանորոգվում կամ կառուցվում, բարեզարդվում ու պայծառանում են բացառապես Հայոց Եկեղեցու և հոգևորականության հայթայթած միջոցներով (որևէ պետական հոգածության մասին խոսք չկա, ի բաց առյալ այն եկեղեցիները, որոնք չեն վերադարձվել Հայոց Եկեղեցուն՝ մնալով պետական խնամքի ներքո):

Պետությունն ու պետական պաշտոնյան, մինչ որևէ խոսք ասելը, պետք է  լսեր ու տեսներ այն հիմնախնդիրները, որոնք Եկեղեցին տակավին տարիներ առաջ բարձրաձայնել էր և այսօր էլ բարձրացնում է՝ ի շինություն Հայրենի երկրի և ի զորացումն ազգային կյանքի»:
