Երևանում ընթացող «Երևանյան երկխոսություն» համաժողովին տարօրինակ էր Սլովակիայի վարչապետ Ռոբերտ Ֆիցոյի ներկայությունը։ Պաշտոնական հաղորդագրության համաձայն՝ նախքան համաժողովը կայացած հանդիպմանը, Փաշինյանն ու Ֆիցոն քննարկել են երկկողմ առևտրատնտեսական հարաբերությունների զարգացմանը, բիզնես կապերի ընդլայնմանը, արդյունաբերության, գյուղատնտեսության, էներգետիկայի ոլորտներում փոխգործակցությանը վերաբերող հարցեր, քննարկվել է նաև անգամ ռազմարդյունաբերական համագործակցությունը։

Տարօրինակն այս ամենում այն է, որ Սլովակիան երկար տարիներ եղել եղել և մնում է Ադրբեջանի կարևորագույն գործընկերներից մեկը և տևական ժամանակ գազ է ներմուծում Ադրբեջանից։ Որոշ ժամանակ առաջ էլ Կազմակերպված հանցավորության և կոռուպցիայի հետազոտության կենտրոնը զեկույց էր հրապարակել՝ նշելով, որ չեխական, սլովակյան և իսրայելական ընկերությունները այդ պետությունների աջակցությամբ շրջանցել են միջազգային էմբարգոն, զենք և զինամթերք տրամադրել Ադրբեջանին։ Ի դեպ, բոլոր այդ գործողությունները տեղի են ունեցել հենց Ռոբերտ Ֆիցոյի պաշտոնավարման օրոք։ Վերջինս այդ երկիրը կառավարում է 3 անգամ՝ 2006-2010, 2012-2018, ինչպես նաև 2023 թ․ից մինչ օրս։ Եվ իր 2-րդ պաշտոնավարման ընթացքում էլ կազմակերպվել և իրականացվել է կասկածելի և չափազանց վտանգավոր հատուկ գործողությունը, երբ Իսրայելից «Տատրա» մեքենաներ ներկրելու թույլտվություն են ստացել, դրա վրա հաուբիցներ տեղադրել և իսրայելական ինքնաթիռներով տեղափոխել արդեն Բաքու 44-օրյա պատերազմից առաջ։

Սլովակիան մինչ օրս էլ շարունակում է իր հակահայկական քաղաքականությունը։ Այդ երկրի փոխվարչապետ, պաշտպանության նախարար Ռոբերտ Կալինյակը միայն այս տարի 2 անգամ հայտարարել է, թե «Հայաստանն օկուպացրել էր Ադրբեջանի տարածքը»։ Հայաստանի իշխանությունները պարզաբանում չեն պահանջել, ԱԳՆ-ն նույնիսկ չի պատասխանել լրագրողական հարցմանը։ Սլովակիան էլ ընդհանրապես հրաժարվել է որևէ կերպ մեկնաբանել փոխվարչապետի այս հայտարարությունը։

Ավելին, Ֆիցոն ինքն էլ ներկայումս Եվրոպայում «իզգոյի» կարգավիճակ ունի՝ հաշվի առնելով նրա բավականին սերտ հարաբերությունները տարբեր երկրների բռնապետների հետ, և այսօր, նրան Հայաստանում ընդունելով՝ ճոխ արարողություն կազմակերպելով և միջազգային համաժողովի առանցքային բանախոս ներկայացնելով՝ փաշինյանական իշխանությունը հերթական դիվանագիտական ապտակն է հասցնում ինքն իրեն։ Թեպետ չի բացառվում, որ Ֆիցոյի միջոցով փորձում են ազդել Ադրբեջանի նախագահի վրա, խնդրել և համոզել կնքելու իրենց ձախողված խաղաղության պայմանագիրը։ Թերևս հենց այդ նպատակով էլ Սլովակիայի վարչապետին հրավիրել են Հայաստան։
