Տյումենի մարզի հայերի միության նախագահ, հայտնի գործարար և հասարակական գործիչ Աբրահամ Հովեյանը շնորհավորական ուղերձ է հղել Առաջին հանրապետության օրվա առթիվ․

«Հարգելի հայրենակիցներ, ընդունեք իմ անկեղծ շնորհավորանքները Հանրապետության տոնի առթիվ:

1918 թվականի մայիսի 28-ին, Սարդարապատի, Բաշ-Ապարանի, Ղարաքիլիսայի հերոսամարտերից հետո, Հայաստանի Առաջին Հանրապետության հռչակումը դարձավ հայ ժողովրդի համար մեծ նշանակություն ունեցող իրադարձություն։ Դարեր շարունակ օտար տիրապետությունից, հալածանքներից և զանգվածային տեղահանություններից հետո փոքր երկիրը վերջապես կարողացավ իրեն հռչակել՝ որպես ինքնիշխան պետություն: Այս պատմական պահը նոր էջ բացեց հայ ժողովրդի ճակատագրում՝ դառնալով ավելի լավ ապագայի հանդեպ հույսի ու հավատի խորհրդանիշ։

Թեև Առաջին Հանրապետությունը գոյատևեց ընդամենը երկու տարուց մի փոքր ավելի, նրա ներդրումը հետագա սերունդների կյանքում անհնար է գերագնահատել: Հայ ժողովրդի համար այդ երկու տարիները խորհրդանշում են ազգային վերածնունդը։

Չնայած Հայաստանի ներսում և նրա շուրջ ստեղծված ծայրահեղ ծանր իրավիճակին՝ Առաջին Հանրապետությունը Հայաստանի ժամանակակից պետական ​​կառուցվածքի հենասյուները դրեց։ Ստեղծվեցին պետական ​​մարմիններ և խորհրդարան, կազմավորվեցին զինված ուժեր, իրականացվեցին վարչական բարեփոխումներ, կազմակերպվեցին նախարարություններ և գերատեսչություններ։ Այս ամենը հիմք ստեղծեց հայոց պետականության հետագա զարգացման համար։ Այս դարաշրջանը ծնունդ տվեց նաև գիտության և արվեստի մի շարք ականավոր գործիչներ, ովքեր նշանակալի ներդրում ունեցան ազգային մշակույթի ձևավորման գործում։

Երիտասարդ հանրապետության առաջին քայլերը ցույց տվեցին ողջ աշխարհին, որ հայ ժողովուրդն արժանի է սեփական պետություն ունենալու և պատրաստ է կառուցել արդար հասարակություն։ Այսպիսով, Հայաստանի Առաջին Հանրապետությունը հիմք դրեց հայոց պետականության և մշակույթի հետագա զարգացմանը՝ վառ հետք թողնելով ժառանգների սրտերում։ Իսկ ապագայում մշակութային ավանդույթների պահպանումն ու քաղաքացիների իրավունքների ու ազատությունների պաշտպանությունը դարձավ ամենակարևորը հետագա սերունդների համար։

Առաջին Հանրապետության համառոտ պատմությունը վառ օրինակ է ինքնավստահության կարևորության և նպատակին հասնելու ճանապարհին խոչընդոտները հաղթահարելու ունակության մասին։ Սա պահանջում է ազգային միասնություն, համատեղ ջանքեր, ներքին ներդաշնակություն և համբերություն։

Այսօր, տասնամյակներ անց, մենք շարունակում ենք հարգել Հայաստանի առաջին ղեկավարների հիշատակը՝ նրանց սխրանքը համարելով հայրենասիրության և հերոսության օրինակ։

Կրկին շնորհավորելով բոլորին Հանրապետության տոնի առթիվ՝ մաղթում եմ խաղաղ երկինք, հաջողություններ և նորանոր ձեռքբերումներ՝ ի բարօրություն Հայաստանի և հայ ժողովրդի»,-ասվում է ուղերձում։
