Բնակչությունը ավելի հաճախ կտուժի ջերմաստիճանի հանկարծակի փոփոխություններից, գրում է «Հիդրոօդերևութաբանության և մոնիթորինգի» կենտրոն ՊՈԱԿ-ի տնօրեն Լևոն Ազիզյանը։

«Կլիմայագետները պարզել են, որ վերջին կես դարի ընթացքում ջերմաստիճանի հանկարծակի փոփոխությունների հաճախականությունը զգալիորեն աճել է Երկրի տարածքների 60%-ում։ Ավելին, նման եղանակային անոմալիաների հաճախականությունը դարի վերջին կաճի ևս 6-8%-ով՝ CO2 արտանետումների հետագա աճի հետ մեկտեղ։ Արդյունքում, Երկրի վրա կրկնակի ավելի շատ մարդիկ պարբերաբար կտուժեն ջերմաստիճանի տատանումներից։

Տաքացումից սառեցման արագ փոփոխությունները բացասական ազդեցություն ունեն մարդկանց կյանքի և բնության վրա, քանի որ գրեթե ժամանակ չեն տալիս ծայրահեղ շոգին կամ ցրտին հարմարվելու համար։ Նման անոմալիաներին պարբերաբար ենթարկվող մարդկանց թիվը կարող է կրկնապատկվել մինչև 2100 թվականը, եթե ջերմոցային գազերի արտանետումները չնվազեն։ Այս եզրակացությանը հանգել է կլիմայագետների միջազգային խումբը՝ Սուն Յաթսենի համալսարանի (ՉԺՀ) պրոֆեսոր Լուո Մինգի գլխավորությամբ։ Այս եզրակացությանը հասնելու համար թիմը ուսումնասիրել է, թե ինչպես է ցերեկային օդի ջերմաստիճանը փոխվել Երկրի բոլոր մայրցամաքներում 1961-2023 թվականներին։ Վերլուծված տեղեկատվության հիման վրա կազմվել է մոլորակի կլիմայի համակարգչային մոդելը։

 Բացի այդ CO2 արտանետումների հետագա աճը ոչ միայն 6-8%-ով կբարձրացնի ծայրահեղ ջերմաստիճանի փոփոխությունների հաճախականությունը և կկրկնապատկի դրանց պարբերաբար ենթարկվող մարդկանց միջին թիվը, այլև գիտնականները պարզել են, որ այս աճը տարբեր կերպ կազդի մոլորակի տարբեր շրջանների վրա։ Շատ զարգացող երկրներ հատկապես ծանր հարված կստանան։ Մասնավորապես, Սահարայից հարավ Աֆրիկայի երկրներում և Լատինական Ամերիկայի երկրներում այս անոմալիաները մինչև 2100 թվականը կազդեն 4-6 անգամ ավելի շատ մարդկանց վրա, քան այսօր։ Սա պետք է հաշվի առնել ծայրահեղ եղանակային երևույթների դեմ պայքարին ուղղված միջոցառումներ մշակելիս, եզրակացրել են գիտնականները։

 Վերջին տարիներին Երկրի վրա զգալիորեն հաճախակի են դարձել երաշտները, ջերմային ալիքները և այլ ծայրահեղ եղանակային երևույթները։ Դրա վառ օրինակներն են վերջերս տեղի ունեցած երաշտները և դրանց հետ կապված հրդեհները ԱՄՆ-ի արևմտյան մասում և Ավստրալիայում, որոնք խլել են միլիոնավոր կենդանիների կյանք և ոչնչացրել անտառների հսկայական տարածքներ։ Այս նույն կլիմայական անոմալիաները, ինչպես ցույց են տալիս բժիշկների դիտարկումները, նպաստում են մահացության և սրտանոթային ու շնչառական հիվանդությունների դեպքերի աճին»,– գրել է նա։
