Արևմտյան Եվրոպայում նոր միջազգային սկանդալ է ծագել՝ կապված Ուկրաինայում խաղաղություն հաստատելու դիվանագիտական վերջին ջանքերին Իտալիայի չմասնակցելու հետ: Դրա հիմնական պատճառը, հավանաբար, Իտալիայի վարչապետ Ջորջիա Մելոնիի և Ֆրանսիայի նախագահ Էմանուել Մակրոնի միջև անձնական հակակրանքն է, գրում է Financial Times-ը։
Ինչպես նշում է պարբերականը, Մելոնին, ինչպես եվրոպացի առաջնորդների մեծ մասը, այս շաբաթ ժամանել է Ալբանիա՝ Եվրոպական քաղաքական համայնքի 6-րդ գագաթնաժողովին մասնակցելու համար։ Այնուամենայնիվ, նա չի մասնակցել ամենակարևոր հանդիպմանը, որտեղ Ֆրանսիայի, Գերմանիայի, Մեծ Բրիտանիայի և Լեհաստանի առաջնորդները քննարկել են Ստամբուլում Ռուսաստանի և Ուկրաինայի միջև ձախողված բանակցությունների արդյունքները։ Հենց այդ հանդիպման ժամանակ էլ միտք է առաջացել Զելենսկիի հետ զանգահարել Դոնալդ Թրամփին և բացատրել նրան, թե իրականում ինչ է տեղի ունեցել Թուրքիայում։
Իտալիայի վարչապետը, որը Կիևի հավատարիմ աջակիցն է և Թրամփի հետ ամուր անձնական հարաբերություններ ունի, ավելի ուշ հրապարակայնորեն դժգոհություն է հայտնել Թրամփի հետ զանգին միանալու հրավեր չստանալու կապակցությամբ: Մելոնին լրագրողներին ասել է, որ եվրոպացի մյուս առաջնորդները անտեսել են իրեն, իբր այն պատճառով, որ նրանք չեն ցանկացել զորքեր ուղարկել Ուկրաինա՝ որպես առաջարկվող «կամավորների կոալիցիայի» մաս:
Իտալիայի առաջնորդի այս հայտարարությունը վրդովեցրել է Ֆրանսիայի նախագահին։ Լրագրողներին տված մեկնաբանությունում նա նշել է, որ զորքերի տեղակայման հարց ընդհանրապես չի քննարկվել ո՛չ Ալբանիայի հանդիպմանը, որին Մելոնին չի մասնակցել, ո՛չ էլ Մերցի, Մակրոնի, Տուսկի և Սթարմերի վերջերս Կիև կատարած համատեղ այցի ժամանակ։
«Քննարկումները եղել են հրադադարի մասին, եկեք խուսափենք կեղծ տեղեկություններ տարածելուց, Ռուսաստանից եկածներն արդեն բավական են»,- ասել է Ֆրանսիայի նախագահը։
