Մոսկվայում Հաղթանակի շքերթի միջոցառումներին, տարօրինակ մի գիծ էր անցնում, թե ինչպես են Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին նստեցրել Բելառուսի նախագահ Ալեքսանդր Լուկաշենկոյի կողքին։ Հայաստանի և Բելառուսի ղեկավարների հարաբերությունները վաղուց չափազանց վատ են։ 2 կողմերն էլ մշտապես իրար հասցեի տարբեր արտահայտություններ են անում ընդհուպ, գրեթե դադարեցրել են դիվանագիտական շփումները։ Բայց Մոսկվայում, իբր հաշվի առնելով այբենական դասավորությունը, թե՛ համերգին և թե՛ շքերթին, Փաշինյանին նստեցրել էին Լուկաշենկոյի կողքին։ Որոշ դեպքերում Բելառուսի նախագահը փորձում էր ինչոր բան ասել Փաշինյանին, տարածված կադրերում երևում է, որ Փաշինյանը չափազանց դժկամությամբ է լսում Բելառուսի նախագահին։

Ըստ այդմ, բելառուսական տարբեր աղբյուրներ փորձել են հարցումներով պարզել, թե ինչի մասին էին խոսում Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն ու Ալեքսանդր Լուկաշենկոն, քանի որ Փաշինյանը Լուկաշենկոյի ամեն մի խոսքից հետո ծամածռում էր դեմքը։ Ըստ բելառուսական աղբյուրների, Բելառուսի նախագահը հարցրել է Փաշինյանին, թե ինչպե՞ս կբացատրի, որ եկել, հասել է Մոսկվա, բայց որևէ զորախումբ չի ուղարկել շքերթին մասնակցելու։ «Հիմա եկել նստել ես, որ ի՞նչ անես, ծափ տաս, թե ինչպես է անցնում Ադրբեջանի զորախումբը, իսկ դու։ Զորախումբ չես ուղարկել, լավ չէր լինի, որ հիմա քո հայկական զորախումբը այստեղով անցներ, անցներ, դու էլ հպարտ ծափ տայիր, մանավանդ երկիր ես, որը Սովետական Միության կազմում մասնակցել է հաղթանակի կռմանը»,- ասել է Լուկաշենկոն։

Բելառուսական աղբյուրները, ըստ ամենայնի, հենց Լուկաշենկոյի վարչակազմի մասով փորձում են ակնարկներ անել, որ Հայաստանի իշխանություններն ամենևին էլ շահագրգռված չեն՝ հաղթանակի միջոցառումներին մասնակցելով, իսկ Փաշինյանին Մոսկվա էին հասցրել նվաստացնելու նպատակով։
