Իրանի նախագահ Մասուդ Փեզեշքիանը կառավարության նիստում ընդգծել է երկրի խաղաղ միջուկային ձեռքբերումները պաշտպանելու պետության վճռականությունը, գրել է Tasnim News-ը:

«Մենք կարող ենք վստահորեն հայտարարել, որ Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետությունը երբեք չի ձգտել, չի ձգտում և չի ձգտի միջուկային զենք ունենալ: Մենք դրա հետ կապված հիմնարար առարկություններ ունենք, Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետության գերագույն առաջնորդի ֆեթվայի համաձայն՝ միջուկային զենքի արտադրությանն ուղղված ցանկացած գործողություն արգելված է (հարամ է)», - ասել է Փեզեշքիանը:

Միևնույն ժամանակ նա հավելել է. «Մեզ համար անընդունելի է Իրանի միջուկային օբյեկտների ամբողջական ապամոնտաժման հարցի քննարկումը։ Միջուկային տեխնոլոգիաները և մեր գիտնականների ձեռքբերումները խաղաղ ատոմի ոլորտում մեծ նշանակություն ունեն դեղամիջոցների և բուժման, գյուղատնտեսության, շրջակա միջավայրի պահպանության և արդյունաբերության ոլորտներում: Մենք վստահորեն շարունակելու ենք խաղաղ միջուկային գործունեությունը»։

Փեզեշքիանն ընդգծել է Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետության հանձնառությունն աշխարհի հետ խաղաղ փոխգործակցության սկզբունքային քաղաքականությանը և նշել, որ երկիրը հավատարիմ է լուրջ բանակցություններին և ձգտում է համաձայնության գալ:

«Մենք երկխոսություն ենք վարում, քանի որ ձգտում ենք խաղաղության: Մեր երկիրը ցանկանում է խաղաղություն և անվտանգություն տարածաշրջանում և կարծում է, որ տարածաշրջանի երկրները եղբայրներ են, ովքեր կարող են ապրել խաղաղության և ներդաշնակության մեջ: Կարիք չկա, որ աշխարհի մյուս կողմից ինչ-որ մեկը խառնվի մեր գործերին», - եզրափակել է նա:

Նշենք, որ Իրանը և ԱՄՆ-ն բանակցում են Թեհրանի վիճահարույց միջուկային ծրագրի շուրջ: ԱՄՆ-ն պահանջում է հրաժարվել ուրանի հարստացումից և ամբողջությամբ ապամոնտաժել Իրանի միջուկային օբյեկտները, մինչդեռ Իրանը պնդում է, որ միջուկային ոչ մի իրավունքից չի հրաժարվի։
