Մահացել է քաղաքագետ Արմեն Հովհաննիսյանը: Այս մասին ֆեյսբուքյան էջում հայտնել են ընկերները:
«Վերջին 12 տարում, ինչ ճանաչել եմ Արմեն Հովհաննիսյանին, նրա հետ մեր քաղաքական օրակարգերը կիսով չափ են համընկել։ Որոշ հարցերում և համընդհանուր խնդիրների առաջարկվող լուծումներում երբեմն նույնիսկ հակադիր ենք եղել։ Բայց, կարծում եմ, նույնիսկ նրա քաղաքական մտքերի ամենաանհաշտ հակառակորդներն էսօր հիշելիս կառանձնացնեն նրա պարկեշտությունը, ազնվությունը, իր ճշմարտությունը պաշտպանելու սկզբունքայնությունն ու յուրահատուկ նուրբ հումորը։
Նա քաղաքական ակտիվի էն սերնդից էր, որոնց համար ինտելեկտուալ բանավեճը ոչ միայն դեռ հնարավոր էր, այլև պայքարի հիմնական գործիք։ Սերնդից, որի գործունեության հիմքը լավ, թե վատ գաղափարներն էին։ Արմենն էդ սերնդի էն եզակի ներկայացուցիչներից էր, որի պայքարն անանձնական էր, որն իր գաղափարները որևէ կերպ քաղաքական առուծախի առարկա չդարձրեց։ Իմ քաղաքական աչքերը բացելու պահին Արմենն արդեն փողոցում էր՝ ի՛ր բարիկադներին, ի՛ր կարմիր գծերը պաշտպանելիս, որտեղ և մնաց մինչև կյանքի վերջին օրը։ Էդ բարիկադներից ամենաամուրը մի կարմիր գծի վրա էր, որը հայկական ինքնության առանցքային բաղադրիչի՝ հայոց լեզվի, պաշտպանության բարիկադի անունը կկրեր։ Էդ հարցում նրա նախանձախնդրությունը տպավորիչ էր։
Ու էլի՝ չնայած շատ հարցերում չի, որ մենք իրար գաղափարակից կհամարեինք, բայց նրա մահվան լուրը լսելով տպավորություն էր, որ հենց ինձնից մի մաս պակասեց։ Անկեղծորեն կիսում եմ Արմենի հարազատների ու մերձավորների անդառնալի կորստի ցավը»,- գրել է հասարակական, քաղաքական գործիչ Սուրեն Սահակյանը։
«Խորը ցավով տեղեկացա մեր սիրված ընկերոջ, ազգին անմնացորդ նվիրված հայորդի Արմեն Հովհաննիսյանի մահվան մասին։ Ցանկանում եմ իմ խորին ցավակցությունը հայտնել Արմենի ընտանիքին, հարազատներին և բոլոր ընկերներին»,- գրել է հասարակական գործիչ Գիորգի Թումասյանը:
