ԱՄՆ առևտրի նախարար․ Չինաստանի հետ բանակցությունները նպատակ ունեն թուլացնել լարվածությունը

ԱՄՆ առևտրի նախարար Հովարդ Լաթնիկը կիրակի օրը հայտարարել է, որ Չինաստանի հետ երկկողմ բանակցությունները, որոնք այժմ ընթանում են Ժնևում, ուղղված են երկու գերտերությունների միջև լարվածության «թուլացմանը»։
Նա նաև կանխատեսել է բազմաթիվ առևտրային գործարքներ առաջիկա մի քանի ամիսների ընթացքում՝ առանց կոնկրետ երկրներ նշելու։
«Ֆինանսների նախարար Սքոթ Բեսենթը հստակ հասկացրել է, որ իր նպատակներից մեկը լարվածության թուլացումն է։ Գիտեք, 145% և 125%-ը իրականում այնպիսի մաքսատուրքեր են, որոնց դեպքում դուք միմյանց հետ առևտուր չեք անում։ Այդ պատճառով նա այստեղ է՝ տեսնելու, թե արդյոք մենք կարող ենք վերսկսել խոսակցությունը», - ասել է Լաթնիկը Fox News հեռուստաալիքին տված հարցազրույցում։
Լաթնիկը պատասխանում էր այս բանակցություններից Թրամփի վարչակազմի ակնկալիքների մասին հարցին։ Նա նկատի ուներ Չինաստանի 125-տոկոսանոց պատասխան մաքսատուրքերը և ԱՄՆ 145-տոկոսանոց մաքսատուրքերը, որոնք սահմանվել էին ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի՝ առևտրային քաղաքականությունն օգտագործելու ձգտման շրջանակներում՝ Միացյալ Նահանգներում արտադրության աճը խթանելու համար։
«Առաջիկա երեք ամիսների ընթացքում այս քաղաքականության շրջանակներում մեկը մյուսի հետևից առևտրային գործարքներ կկնքվեն», - ասել է Լաթնիկը։
Նա չի նշել, թե որ երկրների հետ Միացյալ Նահանգները գործարքներ կկնքեն այս ժամանակահատվածում։
Լաթնիկը նաև հերքել է այն տեղեկությունները, թե նավահանգստային բանվորները և բեռնատարների վարորդները մաքսատուրքերի պատճառով կորցնում են իրենց աշխատանքը։
«Այժմ սա միայն Չինաստանի խնդիրն է,- ասել է Լաթնիկը։ - Աշխարհի մնացած մասում մաքսատուրքերը կազմում են 10%։ Այնպես որ, մի՛ չափազանցրեք։ Գները կմնան կայուն, հենց որ այս քաղաքականությունն ավարտվի»։
