«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.
Վաղը Մայիսի 9-ն է: Հաղթանակի օրը: Անկախ ինչ-ինչ մարգինալ (լուսանցքային) շրջանակների կամ «անուն հանելու» ձգտող որոշ անձանց ասածներից, դա տոն է նաև մեր ժողովրդի համար: Թեկուզ այն պարզ պատճառով, որ 85 տարի առաջ մեր՝ ոչ մեծաքանակ ազգի հարյուր հազարավոր զավակներ կռվել են ֆաշիզմի դեմ թե՛ ԽՍՀՄ զինված ուժերի, թե՛ նաև դաշնակիցների, այդ թվում՝ ԱՄՆ բանակի կազմում և իրենց ու իրենց ազգի անունը փառքով ու հաղթանակով են գրանցել պատմության մեջ:
Հայտնի է, որ ԽՍՀՄ փլուզումից հետո, հակառուսականության ալիքի վրա, նորանկախ Հայաստանի առաջին իշխանավորներն առանձնապես հակված չէին Մայիսի 9-ը նշել որպես տոն: Բայց ստացվեց այնպես, որ Շուշին ազատագրվեց 1992 թվականի մայիսի 8-9ին: Ու կարճ ժամանակ անց Մայիսի 9-ը, կարելի է ասել՝ ժողովրդական մղումով, վերականգնվեց, վերաիմաստավորվեց ու նոր ընկալման ու գնահատականի արժանացավ:
Մինչև չեկավ Փաշինյանն ու «զրոյական կետ» չարեց:
Ցավալի է, բայց Հաղթանակի օրը մեզանում արդեն չունի ո՛չ այն ընկալումը, ինչ 10-15 կամ 20 տարի առաջ էր, ո՛չ էլ այն հնչեղությունը: Ինչպես, ասենք, արդեն խամրել է Հայաստանի անկախության վերականգնման տոնի՝ սեպտեմբերի 21-ի փայլը: Դեռ չենք խոսում Մայիսի 28-ի մասին: Չենք խոսում ԼՂՀ Անկախության օրվա՝ սեպտեմբերի 2-ի մասին:Բայց խնդիրը միայն, այսպես ասենք, օրացուցային կամ տոնացույցում կարմիրով առանձնացված տոների, օրերի մասին չէ՝ լինի Մայիսի 9-ը, թե հունվարի 28-ը, թե օգոստոսի 23-ը:
Շատ ավելի հասարակ, ինչպես ասում են՝ կենցաղային հարթության վրա նայեք: Ե՞րբ եք վերջին անգամ լիաթոք ծննդյան տարեդարձ նշել կամ Նոր տարի:
Տոները դարձել են կորուսյալ: Գողացվել են այդ տոները մեր երկրի հասարակությունից, մեր ժողովրդից, մեզանից: Վերջին 7 ու հատկապես վերջին 5 տարիներին Փաշինյանն ու իր ՔՊ-ն ամեն ջանք գործադրել են, որպեսզի Հայաստանը, հայ ժողովուրդը տոներ չունենան, հատկապես հաղթանակի հետ կապված տոներ: Ազգայինի մասին էլ չենք ասում, այնքան բացահայտ են այս իշխանությունները պայքարում ամենայն ազգայինի դեմ: Եթե Սահմանադրության նախաբանն ուզում են ջնջել, էլ ի՞նչ օգոստոսի 23 կամ, առավել ևս, սեպտեմբերի 21:
Բայց, կրկնենք, խնդիրը միայն «պաշտոնական» տոները չեն: Մեր կյանքից, առհասարակ, եթե չի վերացել, ապա՝ վերանում է տոն ասվածը: Այս իշխանությունները կորուսել են ոչ միայն մեր հազարավոր զավակներին, ոչ միայն մեր հայրենիքի մի մեծ մասը, նաև գողացել են մեր կյանքի տոները, մեր ուրախությունը, մեզ երջանիկ զգալու հիմքերը...
