Ռուսաստանի նախագահի մամուլի քարտուղար Դմիտրի Պեսկովը հայտարարել է, որ Մեծ Բրիտանիան չի կարող միջնորդի դերի հավակնել ուկրաինական կարգավորման հարցում: Նրա խոսքերը մեջբերում է ՌԻԱ Նովոստին։
 
Նրա խոսքով՝ Լոնդոնը հակամարտության չեզոք մասնակից չէ, ինչն անհրաժեշտ պայման է միջնորդական առաքելության համար:
 
«Անկեղծ ասած, Լոնդոնը մինչև օրս առանձնապես միջնորդի դերի չի հավակնել։ Միջնորդ կարող է լինել մեկը, ով հավասար հեռավորություն ունի հակամարտության մասնակիցների նկատմամբ: Լոնդոնն այդպիսին չէ և չի կարող լինել»,-նշել է Պեսկովը։
 
Նա նաև խստորեն քննադատել է բրիտանական իշխանությունների որոշումը՝ հրավիրել ուկրաինացի զինվորականներին մասնակցելու նացիստական Գերմանիայի դեմ Հաղթանակի 80-ամյակին նվիրված լոնդոնյան շքերթին: Ուկրաինայի Զինված ուժերի մասնակցությունը միջոցառմանը Պեսկովն անվանել է սրբապղծություն և անհարգալից վերաբերմունք Երկրորդ համաշխարհային պատերազմում զոհված բրիտանացիների հիշատակի նկատմամբ:
 
«Հաղթանակի օրվա տոնակատարությանը նեոնացիստական տարրերի հետևորդներին և նեոնացիստներին բացեիբաց հերոսացնողներին հրավիրելը բրիտանացի վետերանների նկատմամբ պարզապես անհարգալից վերաբերմունք չէ։ Դա, ռուսերեն ասած, սրբապղծություն է»,-ասել է նա լրագրողներին։
Կրեմլի խոսնակը Ուկրաինայի իշխանություններին կրկին մեղադրել է նեոնացիզմի մեջ՝ հայտարարելով, որ նմանատիպ գաղափարախոսություն է ընկած Կիևի ներկայիս ռեժիմի հիմքում: Նա նաև մեկնաբանել է Հաղթանակի 80-ամյակի առթիվ հրադադարի մասին ՌԴ առաջարկից Կիևի հրաժարվելը:
 
«Ռուսաստանի առաջարկին ուղիղ պատասխանելուն ռեժիմի անպատրաստ լինելը հստակ ցույց է տալիս, որ այսօրվա Կիևի ռեժիմի գաղափարական հիմքը նեոնացիզմն է։ Եվ նացիզմի դեմ հաղթանակը, ըստ ամենայնի, նրանց համար տոն չէ»- ընդգծել է Պեսկովը։
 
Ավելի վաղ Կրեմլը հայտնել էր, որ ՌԴ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինի որոշմամբ մայիսի 8-ի ժամը 00:00-ից մինչև մայիսի 11-ի ժամը 00:00-ն ընկած ժամանակահատվածում սահմանվում է հրադադարի ռեժիմ: Նման հրադադար արդեն հայտարարվել էր Զատկի օրերին, այն գործել է ապրիլի 19-ի ժամը 18:00-ից մինչև ապրիլի 21-ի կեսգիշեր: Չնայած Ուկրաինայի համաձայնությանը, ՌԴ պաշտպանության նախարարության տվյալներով, Զատկի հրադադարի գործողության ընթացքում է 4,9 հազար խախտում է գրանցվել ուկրաինական ուժերի կողմից:
