Թուրքական դատարանը չորեքշաբթի շվեդ լրագրողին մեղավոր է ճանաչել նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանին վիրավորելու մեջ, հաղորդում է Associated Press-ը։
Յոախիմ Մեդինը դատապարտվել է 11 ամսվա պայմանական ազատազրկման, սակայն նա մնում է կալանքի տակ՝ մինչև ահաբեկչությանն առնչվող մեղադրանքներով առանձին դատավարության արդյունքի հրապարակումը, հայտնել է Լրատվամիջոցների իրավունքների պաշտպանական խումբը։ Մեդինը, որը Dagens etc օրաթերթի լրագրող է, ձերբակալվել է մարտի 27-ին, երբ ժամանել էր Ստամբուլի օդանավակայան՝ վերջին ամիսներին Ստամբուլի քաղաքապետ Էքրեմ Իմամօղլուի ձերբակալությունից հետո բռնկված համազգային բողոքի ցույցերը լուսաբանելու համար։
Օրեր անց լրագրողը բանտարկվել է Էրդողանին վիրավորելու և Քրդստանի աշխատավորական կուսակցությանն (PKK) անդամակցելու մեղադրանքով։
Նրա երկրորդ դատավարության ամսաթիվը դեռևս նշանակված չէ, քանի որ նրան մինչև ինը տարվա ազատազրկում է սպառնում։ Ստամբուլի խիստ ռեժիմի «Մարմարա» բանտում պահվող Մեդինը չորեքշաբթի Անկարայում անցկացված լսումներին միացել է տեսակոնֆերանսի համակարգի միջոցով։
Նրա դեմ մեղադրանքները հիմնված էին Անկարայի դատախազության կողմից 2023 թվականի հունվարի 11-ին Ստոկհոլմում անցկացված հանրահավաքի վերաբերյալ հետաքննության վրա, որին մասնակցել են Քրդական բանվորական կուսակցության (PKK) կողմնակիցներ և որի ժամանակ ցուցարարների ոտքերից կախված է եղել Էրդողանի տեսքով խրտվիլակը։
