ԱՄՆ ֆինանսների նախարար Սքոթ Բեսենթը այսօր առավոտյան հայտարարել է, որ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի վարչակազմը մոտ է Հնդկաստանի հետ առևտրային համաձայնագրի կնքմանը, թեև հրաժարվել է պատասխանել մի քանի հարցերի, որոնցում նրան խնդրում էին տրամադրել հայտարարության ժամանակացույց, գրում է NBC News-ը։

«Կարծում եմ՝ մենք շատ մոտ ենք Հնդկաստանի հետ համաձայնության գալուն,-Սպիտակ տանը անցկացված ճեպազրույցի ժամանակ հայտարարել է Բեսենթը։ – Տարօրինակ է, բայց Հնդկաստանի հետ ավելի հեշտ է բանակցել, քան շատ այլ երկրների հետ, քանի որ նրանք ունեն շատ բարձր և շատ մաքսատուրքեր։ Հետևաբար, շատ ավելի հեշտ է դիմադրել անմիջական մաքսատուրքերին։

Ըստ նրա՝ Հնդկաստանը և ասիական մյուս երկրները «ամենաշատն էին» պատրաստ Թրամփի վարչակազմի հետ առևտրային համաձայնագրեր կնքելու համար։
