Իրանի նախագահ Մասուդ Փեզեշքյանի վաղվա այցն արհեստածին Ադրբեջան գրեթե ոչինչ չի փոխելու երկկողմ խնդիրների այն բարդ հանգույցում, որոնք, ըստ էության բազմաթիվ կետերում անլուծելի են։ Այս մասին թելեգրամյան իր ալիքում գրել է ԵՊՀ իրանագիտության ամբիոնի վարիչ, իրանագետ Վարդան Ոսկանյանը:

«Բաքվի բարբարոսական վարչախումբը, սակայն, փորձելու է այցը լիուլի օգտագործել նաև հակահայկական նպատակներով։ Ըստ այդմ, պետք է նկատի ունենալ, որ Իրանի դիրքորոշումներում որևէ դեպքում չի կարող լինել փոփոխություն կամ մեղմացում, այսպես կոչված, «Թուրանական միջանցքի» (Բաքվում այն հորջորջում են «Զանգեզուրյան միջանցք» հորինովի անվանումով), որովհետև դա ուղղակիորեն հակասում է Թեհրանի կենսական շահերին։

Իրանը որևէ այլ հակահայկական հարցով չի կարող պայմանավորվել Բաքվի բարբարոսակսն վարչախմբի հետ, քանի որ դա նույնպես չի բխում Թեհրանի շահերից։ Բաքվի բարբարոսական վարչախմբի քարոզչամեքենայի կողմից արդեն իսկ շրջանառության մեջ դրված կեղծ թեզը, թե, իբր, հայկական կողմից «Թուրանական միջանցքի» չտրամադրման դեպքում Նախիջևանի հետ ցամաքային հաղորդակցությունը կիրականացվի Իրանի տարածքով, զուտ ճնշման պրիմիտիվ գործիք է Հայաստանի վրա, քանի որ այդ հաղորդակցությունը ԽՍՀՄ փլուզումից ի վեր եղել է հենց Իրանի տարածքով՝ բնականաբար, իրանական լիակատար վերահսկողության, իսկ անհրաժեշտության դեպքում նաև սահմանափակումների ներքո»,-գրել է նա։
