Աշխարհի ամենահյուսիսային քաղաքացիական օդանավակայանին անհետացման վտանգ է սպառնում

Աշխարհի ամենաարտառոց օդանավակայաններից մեկը՝ աշխարհի ամենահյուսիսային քաղաքացիական օդանավակայանը՝ Նորվեգիայի Սվալբարդ օդանավակայանին անհետացման վտանգ է սպառնում։ Օդանավակայանը տեղակայված է նորվեգական Շպիցբերգեն (Սվալբարդ) արշիպելագի Լոնգյիր (Longyearbyen) գյուղի մերձակա մշտական սառույցի հաստ շերտի վրա։
Երբ 1970-ականների սկզբին Լոնգյիրում կառուցվեց 2300 մետր երկարությամբ թռիչքուղին, ոչ ոք չէր սպասում, որ տակի ամուր հիմքը կսկսի հալվել:
Ցավոք, կլիմայի փոփոխության հետևանքների պատճառով այսօր հենց դա է տեղի ունենում, նշվում է CNN հեռուստաալիքի ռեպորտաժում:
Վերջին տարիներին Շպիցբերգենում զբոսաշրջության ակտիվության աճ է նկատվում, քանի որ մարդիկ թռչում են կղզիներ՝ Հյուսիսափայլով հիանալու կամ հյուսիսային շրջանը ուղեկցորդի հետ ուսումնասիրելու համար՝ անվտանգ հեռավորություն պահպանելով իրենց նկատած ցանկացած սպիտակ արջից:
Սվալբարդ օդանավակայանը կենսական ենթակառուցվածք է արշիպելագի մոտ 2500 բնակիչների համար: Նրանք կախված են օդային տրանսպորտից՝ առաջին անհրաժեշտության ապրանքներն ապահովելու համար: Կախված եղանակից, նավերով կղզիներ առաքումը կարող է մոտ երկու օր տևել: Ճակատագրի հեգնանքով, հաշվի առնելով տարածաշրջանի վրա կլիմայի փոփոխության աճող ազդեցությունը, Սվալբարդը ածխի արդյունահանման մի քանի խոշոր ձեռնարկությունների տունն է:
Ցավոք սրտի, մշտական սառույցի հալվելը Սվալբարդում լուրջ խնդիր է դարձել։ Հավերժական սառածությունը, որը սահմանվում է որպես ցանկացած հող, որն առնվազն երկու տարի սառած է մնացել, տարածաշրջանում աստիճանաբար հալվում է: Սկզբում վերաբնակիչները այս սառցե հիմքի վրա կառուցեցին իրենց տներն ու շինությունները:
Հիմա այս հիմքերը քանդվում են։ Բացի դրանից, տարածաշրջանում աճող անկայունությունը հանգեցրել է սողանքների և ձնահոսքերի ռիսկի ավելացմանը:
«Ամռանը մենք պետք է ամեն օր ուշադիր ստուգենք թռիչքուղին, քանի որ հողը ցանկացած պահի կարող է նստել: Ակնկալում ենք, որ իրավիճակը ժամանակի ընթացքում կվատթարանա», - CNN-ին պատմել է օդանավակայանի մենեջեր Ռագնհիլդ Կոմիսռուդը:
Չնայած Սվալբարդն ավանդաբար իրեն ապահովում էր էլեկտրաէներգիա ածխով աշխատող էլեկտրակայաններից, կղզին աստիճանաբար հրաժարվում է այս երկարամյա ավանդույթից: 2020 թվականին փակվել է կղզու ամենամեծ հանքերից մեկը՝ «Սվեագրուվա»-ն։
2023 թվականին փակվել է նաև Լոնգյերբիենում գտնվող ածխով աշխատող էլեկտրակայանը, որը փոխարինվել է դիզելային էլեկտրակայանով, ինչը գրեթե կիսով չափ կրճատել է ածխաթթու գազի արտանետումները։
