1915 թվականի ապրիլի 24-ը մի ամսաթիվ է, որը չի կարելի պայծառ անվանել, այն սգո, հիշատակի օր է՝ 1.5 միլիոն անմեղ զոհերի համար, որոնք Օսմանյան կայսրությունում 110 տարի առաջ՝ անցյալ դարի սկզբին զոհվեցին միայն այն պատճառով, որ հայ էին, ուղերձ է հղել ՌԴ Պետդումայի ԱՊՀ հարցերով հանձնաժողովի փոխնախագահ Կոնստանտին Զատուլինը։

Նրա խոսքով՝ Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը մի ողբերգություն է, որի ցավը շարունակվում է մինչ օրս։

«Այսօր, երբ մենք գլուխ ենք խոնարհում ընկածների հիշատակի առջև, պարտավոր ենք խոսել ոչ միայն անցյալի, այլև ներկայի մասին։ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղից հայ բնակչության զանգվածային արտագաղթը 2023 թվականին միայն աշխարհաքաղաքական հանգամանք չէ։ Սա ողբերգության շարունակությունն է, որը մեր դարում քողարկված է ոմանց կասկածելի արդարացումներով ու մյուսների դավաճանությամբ։ Մենք նշում ենք դարեր շարունակ իրենց հողի վրա ապրած մարդկանց այսօրվա դժբախտությունները, պատմությունը, կրոնական և մշակութային հուշարձանները գողանալու փորձը և բանտարկյալների նկատմամբ «Շեմյակինի դատ»։ Սա չի կարող անտարբեր թողնել մեր խիղճը»,- ասել է նա։

Այս օրերին հատկապես դժվար է հետևել, թե ինչպես են հենց Հայաստանում՝ արտաքին և ներքին ուժերի ճնշման տակ, խաթարվում ազգային ինքնագիտակցության հիմքերը։

Մենք տեսնում ենք, թե ինչպես է Հայ Առաքելական եկեղեցին հարձակման ենթարկվում, ինչպես է ոտնահարվում պատմական հիշողությունը, ինչպես են խզվում կապերը նրանց հետ, ովքեր դարեր շարունակ դաշնակիցներ և ընկերներ են եղել»,- իր տելեգրամյան հայտարարությունում նշել է Զատուլինը։

«Մենք սգում ենք հայ ժողովրդի հետ։ Մենք շարունակելու ենք ճշմարտության մասին խոսել և պայքարել հանուն նրա, որպեսզի անցյալի ողբերգությունները չկրկնվեն ո՛չ ներկայում, ո՛չ էլ ապագայում։

Հաղթանակի 80-ամյակի նախօրեին Ռուսաստանում ընդունվեց «1941-1945 թվականների Հայրենական Մեծ պատերազմի ժամանակ խորհրդային ժողովրդի ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակը հավերժացնելու մասին» օրենքը։ Թող բոլոր ցեղասպանությունների զոհերի հիշատակը դառնա ոչ միայն հարգանքի տուրք, այլև դաս։ Թող այն միավորի բոլոր նրանց, ովքեր հավատում են արդարությանը, ովքեր չեն բաժանում ժողովուրդներին աշխարհագրությամբ և շահերով, ովքեր կիսում են նրանց ցավն ու հույսը»,- եզրփակել է Զատուլինը։
