Այսօր Ջահերով երթ է լինելու։ Լավ չեմ հիշում, բայց 2000 կամ 2001 թվականից եմ մասնակցում Ջահերով երթին։ Նույն ժամանակ էլ ՀՅԴ «Նիկոլ Աղբալյան» ուսանողական միության գրասենյակում ծանոթացել եմ Իշխան Սաղաթելյանի հետ։ Այս մասին ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է քաղաքագետ Հրանտ Մելիք-Շահնազարյանը։
«Երթի կազմակերպչական հարցերով էինք հանդիպել։ Ու այսօր, երբ ետ եմ նայում դեպի տարիների խորքը, հասկանում եմ, որ թե՛ այն ժամանակ և թե՛ հատկապես հիմա Ջահերով երթը շատ ավելի խոր իմաստ ու բովանդակություն է պարունակում, քան զուտ Ծիծեռնակաբերդի բարձունքում Հայոց ցեղասպանության մեր մեկուկես միլիոն սրբադասված զոհերի հիշատակը հարգելն է։ Ավելին՝ նույնիսկ մեր պահանջատիրությունը չի արտահայտում երթի ողջ էությունը։ Ջահերով երթը շատ ավելի բովանդակալից է։ Այն մեր հայ լինելու մասին է։ Մեր էության։ Մեր անցյալի, ներկայի ու ապագայի մասին է։
