Пашинян: В центре внимания Папы Франциска были вопросы мира на Южном Кавказе

Премьер-министр Армении Никол Пашинян направил телеграмму соболезнования декану Коллегии кардиналов Святого Престола Джованни Баттисте Ре по случаю кончины Его Святейшества Папы Римского Франциска. Об этом Новости Армении – NEWS.am сообщили в пресс-службе Правительства Армении.
В послании говорится:
«С глубокой скорбью воспринял весть о кончине Его Святейшества Папы Римского Франциска. От имени народа Республики Армения и от меня лично примите наши глубочайшие соболезнования.
Неоценимы были выдающееся лидерство Его Святейшества и его усилия по укреплению мира, распространению общечеловеческих ценностей, укреплению солидарности между народами и защите прав и свобод человека.
Папа Франциск останется в нашей памяти как пионер сострадания и гуманистических идей, и в центре его внимания были также вопросы мира и стабильности на Южном Кавказе.
Мы глубоко разделяем скорбь верующих во всем мире в связи с этой большой утратой».
