Եվրոպական դիվանագիտության ղեկավար Քայա Կալլասը հայտարարել է, որ ԱՄՆ-ն չի օգտագործել իր բոլոր գործիքները Ռուսաստանի վրա ճնշում գործադրելու համար և նշել է, որ Մոսկվան «խաղեր է խաղում» «Զատկի զինադադարով», քանի որ իրականում խաղաղություն չի ուզում:

«Նրանք չեն պահպանել հրադադարի ռեժիմը: Հասկանալի է, որ Ռուսաստանը խաղում է այս բոլոր խաղերը և ժամանակէ ձգձգում է և իրականում խաղաղություն չի ուզում»,-ասել է նա Ֆրանսպրես գործակալությանը տված հարցազրույցում:

Անցյալ շաբաթ ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը սպառնացել էր հրաժարվել պատերազմին վերջ տալու ջանքերից, եթե կողմերը չկարողանան բանակցություններում առաջընթաց արձանագրել, հայտնում է BBC-ն։

Ըստ Կալլասի՝ Կիևը և նրա եվրոպացի աջակիցները հույս ունեին, որ Վաշինգտոնն ավելի կոշտ դիրքորոշում կորդեգրի Մոսկվայի նկատմամբ:

«Նրանք ունեն գործիքներ, որոնք կարող են օգտագործել Ռուսաստանի վրա ճնշում գործադրելու համար, բայց դրանք չեն օգտագործել»,- նշել է նա։

Եվրոպական դիվանագիտության ղեկավար նշել է նաև, որ Վաշինգտոնի համար սխալ կլինի խաղաղ համաձայնագրի շրջանակում դիտարկել բռնակցված Ղրիմը որպես Ռուսաստանի տարածք ճանաչելը: Ըստ նրա՝ ԵՄ-ն երբեք չի ճանաչի թերակղզին որպես ռուսական։

«Ղրիմը Ուկրաինան է»,-հավելել է Կալլասը։
