Երեկ Պեկինի Յիժուանգ արվարձանում անցկացվել է 21,1 կմ երկարությամբ ամենամյա կիսամարաթոնը, որի առանձնահատկությունն այն էր, որ դրան մասնակցում էին նաև ռոբոտներ։ Մեկնարկային գիծ են դուրս եկել 21 մարդանման ռոբոտ՝ 12, 000 մարզիկների հետ, գրում է kommersant.ru-ն։ 

Բախումներից խուսափելու համար ռոբոտների վազքուղին առանձնացվել է մարդկանց վազքուղուց։ Կանոնակարգի համաձայն՝ վազքուղու երկայնքով ռոբոտների համար ստեղծվել են հատուկ կանգառի կայաններ, ինչպես մարդկանց համար։ Բայց եթե մարդկանց պարագայում այս կետերում ավանդաբար տրվում է ջուր, բանան, խնձոր, նարինջ և ածխաջրածին գել, ռոբոտներն այդ կայաններում լիցքավորվել են. օպերատորները լիցքավորել կամ փոխել են ռոբոտների մարտկոցները:

Որոշ ռոբոտներ դուրս են մնացել մրցավազքից և փոխարինվել կրկնօրինակներով:

Ռոբոտների մեջ ամենաարագ կիսամարաթոնի վազորդը Tiangong Ultra-ն էր, որը ստեղծվել է Պեկինի ռոբոտաշինության ինովացիոն կենտրոնում: «Հաղթողի» ժամանակը 2 ժամ 40 րոպե էր (միջին տեմպը՝ 7,35 րոպե/կմ, կամ 7,9 կմ/ժ)։
