Tesla-ի գործադիր տնօրեն Իլոն Մասկի համար անախորժությունները շարունակվում են. այժմ ԱՄՆ-ում ընկերության դեմ խմբակային հայց է ներկայացվել: Հիմնական մեղադրանքը՝ Tesla-ն, իբր, կեղծում է իր մեքենաների վազաչափի ցուցանիշները, գրում է Bild-ը։
Հայցում ավտոարտադրողին մեղադրում են, մասնավորապես, հետևյալում.
«Հայցվորը ձեռք է բերել Tesla մեքենա՝ վավեր երաշխիքով, որն ուներ վազքին հետևելու ներկառուցված համակարգ, որն ուռճացնում էր անցած կիլոմետրերի իրական թիվը»:
Լոս Անջելեսի բնակիչ Նարի Հինթոնը պնդում է, որ իր Tesla-ի վազաչափը ցույց է տալիս զգալիորեն ավելի շատ մղոններ, քան նա իրականում վարում է: Սա, նրա խոսքով, ընկերությանը թույլ է տալիս արհեստականորեն կրճատել մեքենայի (երբեմն վճարովի) երաշխիքի տևողությունը, քանի որ վազքը դրա վավերականության հիմնական ցուցանիշն է։
Հինթոնը պնդում է, որ 2023 թվականի հունվարից մինչև հունիս նա միայն ճանապարհորդել է աշխատանքի և երբեմն մարզասրահ՝ օրական մոտ 20 մղոն: Սակայն, մեքենայի վազաչափը երբեմն ցույց էր տալիս մինչև 115 կիլոմետր: Երբ Հինթոնը նույն խնդրով վեցերորդ անգամ կապվեց սպասարկման կենտրոնի հետ, լիազորված կենտրոնը հրաժարվեց անվճար վերանորոգում կատարել՝ պատճառաբանելով ժամկետանց երաշխիք:
Երաշխիքային ժամկետի ավարտից հետո վազաչափը, իբր, հանկարծ սկսել է «վերադարձնել» նախկինում «գլորած» կիլոմետրեր. այժմ սարքը սկսել է ցույց տալ իրական վազքի կեսը:
Առցանց ֆորումների միջոցով Հինթոնը գտավ Tesla-ի շատ այլ սեփականատերերի, ովքեր նման խնդիրներ ունեն: Այժմ նրանք կոլեկտիվ հայց են ներկայացնում ընկերության դեմ՝ մեղադրելով խարդախության և հաճախորդներին մոլորեցնելու մեջ:
