Հայոց ցեղասպանության թանգարան-ինստիտուտում ապրիլի 23-ին ժամը 15:00-ին տեղի կունենա «Փաստագրելով հանցագործությունը. Հայոց ցեղասպանության ականատես վավերագրողները» խորագրով ժամանակավոր ցուցադրության բացումը՝ նվիրված Հայոց ցեղասպանության 110-րդ տարելիցին:
Ինչպես տեղեկանում ենք Հայոց ցեղասպանության թանգարան-ինստիտուտի տարածած հաղորդագրությունից, ցուցադրության մեջ ներկայացված են շուրջ յոթ տասնյակ ականատեսի վավերագրություններ՝ հուշագրություններ, օրագրություններ, զեկուցագրեր, ֆոտո-դոկումենտալ նյութեր, ֆիլմեր և այլն: Ականատես-վավերագրողների աշխարհագրությունը ներառում է մի քանի տասնյակ պետություններ, այդ թվում՝ ԱՄՆ, Ավստրալիա, Կանադա, Վենեսուելա, Շվեյցարիա, Շվեդիա, Դանիա, Նորվեգիա, Գերմանիա, Մեծ Բրիտանիա, Ռուսաստան, Ֆրանսիա, Հունաստան, Իտալիա, Վատիկան, Նիդերլանդներ, Չեխիա, Լեհաստան, Հնդկաստան, Պարսկաստան, Սիրիա և այլն: Այս մարդիկ ամենատարբեր հանգամանքների բերումով Օսմանյան կայսրությունում էին՝ ականատես դառնալով Հայոց ցեղասպանությանն ու վավերագրելով այն:
Ցուցադրությունում ներկայացված են նաև թուրք վավերագրողներ, որոնք իրենց հուշագրություններում, ժամանակի մամուլում, նաև դատական գործընթացներով փաստագրել են հայերի դեմ տեղի ունեցած հանցագործությունը:
Հայոց ցեղասպանության ականատես վավերագրողների թողած արժեքավոր և հարուստ ժառանգությունը, որում արձանագրված են Հայոց ցեղասպանության սարսափները, բացառիկ սկզբնաղբյուրային նշանակություն ունեն՝ որպես Օսմանյան կայսրությունում մարդկության և քաղաքակրթության դեմ իրագործված հանցագործությունների անհերքելի վկայություններ: Դրանք նաև վկայությունն են այն իրողության, որ աշխարհը քաջատեղյակ էր հայերի դեմ կատարվող հանցագործությանը:
