Թատրոնի կառավարման խորհրդի նախագահ, ռեժիսոր Սարգիս Արզումանյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում հայտարարություն է տարածել.
««ԳՈՅ» թատրոնը պահպանեց իր ինքնությունը․ դատարանը մերժեց իրավահաջորդ ճանաչելու փորձը:
Վերաքննիչ վարչական դատարանը մերժել է Գ.Սունդուկյանի անվան ազգայի ակադեմիական թատրոնին «Գոյ» թատրոնի իրավահաջորդ ճանաչելու միջնորդությունը, նշանակում է՝ Գոյ թատրոնի իրավաբանական ինքնությունը պաշտպանված է, իսկ սա հիմք է տալիս խոսելու շատ ավելի խորքային հարցերի մասին:
Սունդուկյան թատրոնը փորձեց ճանաչվել Գոյ-ի իրավահաջորդը։ Այսինքն՝ փոխարինել մեզ։
Բայց դատարանն ասաց՝ ՈՉ։
Սա հստակ ասված «ՈՉ» է պետական այն մեխանիզմներին, որոնք փորձում են մշակույթը դարձնել փոխարինելի, վերացվող, առանց հիշողության։
Սա դատարանի ուղիղ արձագանքն է այն մտայնությանը, թե «մենք ենք ստեղծել, մենք էլ փակել ենք»։
Սա հաղթանակ է ոչ միայն «ԳՈՅ» թատրոնի, այլ նաև ողջ մշակութային համայնքի համար։
Ոչ մի կառուցվածք, ոչ մի շենք, ոչ մի բյուջե չի կարող լինել ստեղծված, ապրած, պայքարած արվեստի իրավահաջորդը։
ԳՈՅ-ը ո՛չ փոխանցվում է, ո՛չ էլ ժառանգվում։ ԳՈՅ-ը կա, որովհետև ՄԵՆՔ ենք։
Սա ոչ միայն իրավական հաղթանակ է։
Սա փաստարկ է մեր գոյության, մեր անցած ճանապարհի, մեր մաքառումների ու մերժումների մեջ ապրած արժանապատվության համար։
Սա որոշում է, որ ասում է՝ «Ձեր ստեղծածը ուրիշ ոչ ոք չի կարող իրեն վերագրել։ Ոչ հիմա։ Ոչ երբեք»։
Այս որոշումը փաստում է՝ ԳՈՅ թատրոնը իրավաբանական անձ է, ոչ թե բեմ, շենք կամ հաստիքների քանակ, նրա ստեղծագործական ու մշակութային ուղին չի կարող վերագրվել որևէ այլ կազմակերպության կամ պետական կառուցվածքի։
Սա նախադեպային որոշում է, որովհետև այն պաշտպանում է՝ ստեղծագործական ինքնությունը, մշակութային ժառանգության անխզելի շարունակականությունը, ու քաղաքացիական համառ պայքարի արժեքը։ Այո՛։ Սա ընդամենը մի միջնորդության մերժում է։ Բայց սա մի մեծ «ոչ» է այն պետական համակարգին, որն ուզում է մշակույթը տեսնել որպես լծակ՝ վերահսկման, լռեցման կամ հաշվեհարդարի։
Մենք՝ ոչ միայն «ԳՈՅ» թատրոնի անունն ենք պաշտպանում, այլև պաշտպանում ենք գաղափարը, որ ոչ մի թատրոն չպետք է դառնա «փակվող» կամ «փոխարինվող» ոմանց կամայական կամքի։
Պայքարը, սակայն, ավարտված չէ։ Դեռևս առջևում է գործի բովանդակային քննությունը։ Բայց այս վճիռը հստակ հիմք է տալիս ասելու՝ ԳՈՅ թատրոնը կա։ Եղել է։ Ու լինելու է։
Շնորհակալ եմ բոլոր այն մարդկանց, որոնք շարունակաբար կանգնած են այս պայքարի կողքին»:
