Կապանում ՌԴ գլխավոր հյուպատոսություն բացելու հարցում բազմաթիվ առումներով հստակություն կա։ Ակնկալվում է, որ մինչև մայիս կոնկրետ պայմանավորվածություններ կլինեն գլխավոր հյուպատոսության բացման ժամկետների շուրջ։ Այս մասին ճեպազրույցի ժամանակ հայտարարեց ՌԴ ԱԳՆ պաշտոնական ներկայացուցիչ Մարիա Զախարովան։
Ավելի վաղ ՀՀ ԱԳՆ-ից Sputnik Արմենիային հայտնել էին, որ Կապանում Ռուսաստանի գլխավոր հյուպատոսություն բացելու հարցը քննարկման փուլում է։

«Մենք համոզված ենք, որ հանրապետության հարավում` ռազմավարական նշանակություն ունեցող շրջանում, ռուսական ներկայության հետևողական ընդլայնումը համապատասխանում է և՛ Հայաստանի, և՛ Ռուսաստանի, և՛ ամբողջ տարածաշրջանի երկարաժամկետ շահերին»,-ասաց Զախարովան:

Նա նշեց, որ այս քայլը կարող է էական ազդակ հաղորդել առևտրաներդրումային, հասարակական-կրթական, մշակութային-հումանիտար համագործակցության խորացմանը, Ռուսաստանի մարզերի հետ այս տարածաշրջանի փոխշահավետ կապերի հաստատմանը:

Զախարովան կարծում է, որ երկրների միջև տնտեսական օրակարգի առաջմղումը Սյունիքում ավելի ու ավելի արդիական նշանակություն է ձեռք բերում ԵԱՏՄ ձևաչափում՝ կապված Իրանի հետ ազատ առևտրի գոտու մասին համաձայնագրի վերջին վավերացման հետ:
Նրա խոսքով` ՌԴ գլխավոր հյուպատոսության բացումը հուսալի ապահովում կդառնա Սյունիքի մարզի դինամիկ, խաղաղ, անվտանգ զարգացման համար:
