Հոլանդացի մասնագետները կարտոֆիլի շուկայի ուսումնասիրություն են իրականացնում Շիրակում: Որակական մշտադիտարկումից ու որոշակի ֆինանսական ճշգրտումից հետո Գյումրիում կարտոֆիլի վերամշակման գործարանի հիմնադրումն իրատեսական կլինի: Սա այն դեպքն է, երբ ֆինանսական խնդիր չկա. կիրականացվի շվեյցարահայ գործարար Վարդան Սրմաքեշի՝ Շիրակի մարզի զարգացմանն ուղղված ներդրումային ծրագրի շրջանակներում՝ միայն մասնագետների վերջնակա եզր ահանգումից հետո:
Մարզի ֆերմերներին հանդիպելու, պայմաններին ծանոթանալու նպատակով փետրվարի 3-ին Գյումրիում էին հոլանդական «Ֆարմ ֆրիտես» ընկերության զարգացման պատասխանատու Յոս Դեն Բոերին, «Ֆրանկ Մյուլլեր» ընկերության ներկայացուցիչ Հայկ Հովհաննիսյանը, «Արմսվիսբանկի», ՀՀ գյուղատնտեսության նախարարության ներկայացուցիչները: Գյումրու քաղաքապետարանում կայացած հանդիպման ժամանակ «Ֆրանկ Մյուլլեր» ընկերության ներկայացուցիչ Հայկ Հովհաննիսյանը նշեց, որ այս ծրագրով նախատեսվում է ստեղծել կարտոֆիլի ալյուրի /ֆլեյք/ արտադրություն՝ 70 հազար տոննա կարտոֆիլ իրացման ծավալով:
«Ֆարմ ֆրիտես»-ը աշխարհում կարտոֆիլ վերամշակող հինգ առաջատար ընկերություններից մեկն է, որը պատրաստակամություն է հայտնել ծրագրի համաֆինանսավորման: Ընկերությունը ոչ միայն զբաղվում է կարտոֆիլի վերամշակմամբ, այլ կառավարում է կարտոֆիլի արտադրության ողջ ցիկլը՝ սերմնարտադրությունից սկսած: «Այս ծրագրի նախապայմաններից մեկն էլ այն է, որ կառավարումը պետք է իրականացնեն իրենք, վերջում էլ ապրանքի վաճառքը՝ ինչն էլ հույս է ներշնչում, որ մարդիկ լուրջ են տրամադրված»,-«Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբÕ նշեց Հայկ Հովհաննիսյանը: Հոլանդացի մասնագետներին ներկայացվեց Շիրակի մարզում հիմնական մշակաբույս հանդիսացող կարտոֆիլի ցանքատարածությունների, ինչպես նաև այդ ցանքատարածությունների ոռոգման հետ կապված խնդիրները:
Շիրակի մարզպետարանի գյուղատնտեսության վարչության պետ Մովսես Մանուկյանը ներկայացրեց Շիրակի մարզի հնարավորությունները կարտոֆիլագործության ոլորտում նշելով, որ Շիրակի մարզը մասնագիտացված է այս ոլորտում. կան 15 ֆերմերային խոշոր տնտեսություններ և միջին հաշվով 4000-4500 հեկտար կարտոֆիլի բարձորակ ցանքատարածություններ:
Հայ ֆերմերներն էլ քննարկեցին ծրագրի իրականացմա դեպքում իրացման պայմանները: Հանդիպումից հետո հոլանդացի մասնագետները եղան կարտոֆիլի արտադրությամբ զբաղվող մարզի խոշոր ֆերմաներում:
