Министр финансов США рассказал, как президент Украины «сорвал самую легкую сделку в мире»

Министр финансов США Скотт Бессент в интервью американскому журналисту Такеру Карлсону рассказал, как президент Украины Владимир Зеленский «сорвал самую легкую сделку в мире».
Он вспомнил, как по просьбе президента США Дональда Трампа, который хотел, чтобы он возглавил подписание соглашения по редкоземельным металлам с Украиной, посетил с визитом Киев.
Бессент рассказал, что Зеленский не подписал соглашение в Киеве, пообещал подписать его в Мюнхене, но также этого не сделал.
«А потом он добрался до Овального кабинета и сорвал то, что, казалось бы, было проще всего сделать в мире. Он должен был появиться, провести пресс-конференцию, мы собирались устроить приватный обед, если у него что-то было на уме», - отметил министр финансов США.
Он напомнил о знаменитой фотографии из бального зала Восточного крыла Белого дома, запечатлевшей стол с разложенными для подписи документами.
«Но оно (соглашение — ред.) так и не было подписано», - отметил глава Минфина США.
Напомним, что подписание соглашения между США и Украиной сорвалось 28 февраля, после публичной перепалки между лидерами обеих стран в Овальном кабинете.
