9 տարի առաջ այս օրը` 2016 թվականի ապրիլի 2-ին, Ադրբեջանը մասշտաբային ռազմական գործողություններ սկսեց Արցախի ուղղությամբ: Այս մասին իր ֆեյսբուքյան էջում գրել է ԱԺ «Պատիվ ունեմ» խմբակցության քարտուղար Տիգրան Աբրահամյանը։
«Ադրբեջանն իր առաջ խնդիր էր դրել` ռազմական արկածախնդրության միջոցով լուծել ղարաբաղյան կոնֆլիկտը և հայերի գոյության հարցը վերջնականապես փակել:
Արցախի պաշտպանության բանակը` իր թիկունքում ունենալով հայ ժողովրդի ամուր սատարումը և արդար պայքարը, 4-օրյա մարտերում տապալեց ադրբեջանական ռազմական պլանը` նրան պատճառելով մարդկային և տեխնիկային հսկայական կորուստներ:
Մարտական 4-օրյա գործողությունների հետևանքով հայկական կողմը ունեցավ 75 զոհ:
Հետախուզության և տարբեր երկրների համապատասխան ծառայությունների կողմից ստացած տեղեկություններով, ադրբեջանական կողմն ունեցել էր 700-ի կարգի կորուստներ, նրա տարբեր բրիգադներ, այդ թվում` հիմնական գրոհային ուժը` «Յաշմա»-ի հատուկ նշանակության բրիգադը, ունեցած մեծածավալ կորուստներից հետո դարձավ անմարտունակ:
Հավերժ փառք հայրենիքի պաշտպանության համար նահատակված մեր հայրենակիցներին, մեծագույն հարգանք բոլոր այն անձանց, ովքեր այս տասնամյակներում իրենց նպաստն ու մասնակցությունն են բերել մեր հայրենիքի ու նրա տարածքային ամբողջականության պաշտպանությանը»,-գրել է նա։
